bro, it's JavaScript, not Java
also from reading the logs, the first thing I noticed was bad auth: authentication failed, so make sure you have the correct connection string
ahhh kk thanks how do i re ensure i do?
where do you out the username and password for your database server? check that and make sure you typed the correct credentials
i did
it’s on my .env file
i pasted the database link and changed the <password> to my password
i deleted the <> as well
remove the <>
i did
and i tried with it their
there*
as well
and both gave me the same err
i haven't worked on mongodb in years, hopefully someone else can chime in and help, or you can try on a mondodb or nodejs server
okay thanks
sorry i forgot this was a java server
i’m a beginner so i’m getting em confused
sometimes
i think if you can share the connection string, replacing the username and password with username and password, we can see if there's anything weird
also, if I remember correctly atlas can generate the connection string, you can copy it directly from there in case you changed something
will u be here in 2h or so
ah
idk i’ve been working on this DB like all day so ima bit bummed atlas is kinda bugging
will be asleep by then lol it's already 2AM here, helpfully someone else will join this thread, if not ask them to join in general
