#Problem with importing scanner

Why is it when i import the scanner, my packages get errors. Am i inputting it in the wrong thing?

is your file in a folder named test?

also it should be on the first line before imports, but i don't think that's the issue

it would help a lot of you could actually show the error

the scanner isn't the problem,try making a new folder and then adding this file in it,the package name should be the same as the folder name the file is

and honestly for java u should try VSCode it's very good as IDE

like i tried it out for a c++ course

but i guess the runner extension didnt work

my friend installed linux but i constantly have to compile the code myself

if u need any help I knew more than the basics of Java and C,ofc i'm a student but who knows,maybe i'm useful
