Not my personal preferences;
Vs Code is the most preferred editor for Html
Eclipse for Java, and
Visual Studio 2022 Community for C++
I prefer **Notepad++** for HTML (even though notepad++ isn't an ide),
and VS Code for both Java and Python (Disclaimer: haven't even used VS Code to code anything Java Related due to preferred editors by the school) Using a different editor than the preferred or recommended one by your school can indeed present some problem, as in you have to do more work or then make sure the code works in another language, and then I think processing data might make it not work on another editor, so just be very careful with going without the recommended IDE

IntelliJ Ultimate is great with premium coding features...but comes with a subscription fee for extra features. It does come with free community edition though!

If you want a versatile and FREE open source coder you can't go wrong with VS Code with tons of language support and community extensions.
