the game is currently a tremendous bore.

You have to do something. The DOMINATOR event is causing many to abandon the game, it's been too long, we've been doing this for 5 months, the activities are sometimes limited to the number of players which means that many don't participate.
The way the game is structured, with expansion limitations, leads to many agreements with factions, weeks go by without combat.
It's been painful, for a game that's supposed to be entertainment.
An EL 5 months ago was understandable, but a dominator in that format is tiring and demoralizing. DO ANYTHING.
