So what I've noticed is that you must complete the process by using Beast from inventory bag to accomplish task. Open Chest >> Use Item within inventory bag to apply to island inventory

I tried that as well, opened 3 boxes and 2 pets and nothing will have to try again when it comes back.

How do you get this? I opened 4 purple boxes and it didn't complete the bounty. I even moved those animals to the new building.

Okay, next time I'll check just opening box. It's so much clicking through in this event that I didn't bother to check if only opening box is enough. 😄

Agreed. The description for a lot of this is misleading or totally unclear.

The devs just need to make simple, clear instructions. This isn't the first time someone has asked them to do this. Every event since day 1 we've asked for this.

I got reward just by opening box, so it worked for me fine.

Some tasks require opening Chests only, others require the Island acquisition of a monster gained by opening through inventory...

Yes it says "gain 1/2 enigma beasts" and the other was "open an elite chest"
