Oh geez...so much to answer here. In case it hasn't already been addressed, the Combat Resolution is a mathematical formula and DEF is much more impactful and one of the more difficult statistics to obtain. In general, you pick up DEF where you can. HP on the other hand is one of least impactful and common. Now...it is still valuable in the sense that there are way worse things (looking at you, "Elementals"...)

For Titan Gear, go with DEF stats on your Body Armor. Heroes who have HP Enhancements can best utilize the Steel Torrent, else, look at other Runes that are applicable to your March.
