Dude, playing TW nowadays is more than just having 1 hero upgraded. E.g. TG, Formation, Chips , etc (all matter) as you already knew.
You don't get any advantage when others also upgrade to new heroes. Not even mentioning they get ES7 compares to your ES5
Will be the new Naval hero equivalent as strong as Hiccup who can kick ass any type of force, don't know yet !?
Maybe you try something else like increasing your DEF stat on TG, chips, and decors , get more MS decor, etc...

@reef peak Yeah it’s silly from these and other tests, that’s what I sent over and told them if they can’t design a proper army meta, they need to update hero combo to reflect the strongest version of the march 😂
And probably work on the hero design team to stop dropping them on their heads in infancy, and focus on standard numbers for heroes vs. overcomplicated interactions that ultimately hinder hero
That said its hero trial, hero trial is bleh ugly, using matching runes to what I have (impact Rohr, mag for other 2), and closest stats as I could to my own
