March size is the best thing to add.the impact of +1 will also depends on your other stat.if they are low adding more march size will not make as much impact as someone with a stronger stat.you need to balance everything.priorities as follows march size,def,DMG+/- attack/hp

If your march is high you need to see what you are lacking.
March size = slot total HP and losing this HP (march) is losing damage output meaning the quicker you lose the higher is your damage loss to a point it won't impact anymore and lead to defeat
So work on DEF, damage +/- ATK and HP
Balance of stats is important
Attack march and damage increase does increase your potential damage
HP, dmg - DEF and March makes you lose less march on the slots thus maintaining a positive window that still works for you
If one of these are doing poorly, they are connected in the end. Doing low DMG won't bring you the win. Taking too much damage won't either
Approach it slowly. Study your stats, see what you are lacking
March and DEF are the best scaling tools but also the most expensive. However other stats are important too, just cheaper.
