I think majority of players follow metas they see from whales, only a little % of players realize how useless metas are for them.

think magnetic as AOE, good to poke, great to bully the weaker because of how many ticks you deal every round

however when facing suppression or a more resilient enemy, your magnetic tickles, the damage is slightly more residual

Hostile on the other hand applies differently, mechanics dictate one slot out of 9 per round to be focused down, your not poking multiple units at a time, you're target focusing one by one.

also hostile benefits of a much simpler, buffer rune preset

I see hostile better than magnetic for those who can afford 7's it is far more reliable in general case situations of weak or stronger than you.

I won't judge nor comment those who feel magnetic is better for them, I'm fine with that, magnetic helps weaker players more than Hostile does

Hostile > magnetic but the investment cost is by far superior to the magnetic.

also magnetic allows you to use DMG runes else where, navy, air, whatever, has a customization advantage

hostile requires a large chunk of your DMG runes to be dumped into that line up.

so being in a less whaley server actually benefits you more with unique rewards

so if you care about that, going to a medium sized server can prolly yield you better rewards, if you dont care at all, is up to you

so win by just winning relying on others isn't really winning to me
