How to deal with that chip

Leveling the chip from 0 to 25 just increased the dmg inc from 3% to 10%. And nothing happened to the rest of the stats

By the description, it probably is swap chip, you got from before there was overclocking. Those chips can be swapped instead real chips. You just should use it for overclocking, not for anything else. If I don't mistake your description, of course.

@sage patio I did a over clocked 4 gold chip to get a ruby and got all unit def, air def and got a ruby one with all unit dmg inc and atk stats additionally

Then I leveled it to 25 and it just boosted my dmg inc to 10% and rest reminds same.. which is so dumb for the value I spent

Ruby chip let's you to pick 2 attributes of your need. In general people pick unit def and all unit def then system randomly gives you 2 stats

Now you have to level the chip from 0 to 25 while doing that you get some stats boost

All I am saying is that the level up did nothing to the def stats and that's a concern for me

You picked two stats, you get two random stats with it, you don't have a guarantee especially on chips that aren't core that all points go into what you want

Lack of attack is important to take into account. But in terms of raw value damage decrease is rarer and thus better than attack

But keep an eye on all your stats.

600% damage +/- with 3000% attack HP is garbage

Many enjoyers rather go damage increase but defense is the biggest gap maker alongside march size in battle

Chips I highly recommend focusing on defense

20% damage from decors is like 2.5% per 6$ and using less shards to level up vs spending for 16% DEF

Defense acts as additional damage decrease based on your both values

More damage decrease translates more damage decrease provided from your defense

Raising defense alone will also award you a ratio of extra damage decrease

Since chips are the highest source of DEF, highly recommend aiming for defense chips

Start with the mindset of best in slot and later shape a full set 6 piece. I recommend stats over damage chip effects
