whats the difference between attack and dmg increase? if i have 50% attack and 10% dmg increase, which one is the better choice

It’s dependent on your stats but I believe most commonly attack —> dmg comparisons is 10% attack is = to 1% dmg

I’m not sure the math behind it but seemingly that’s what I been told and seen a few times and that’s how I run off it.

and if it has 5% DEF in it, i will choose it

• If ATK deals 1,000 damage and you have 20% inc DMG, the actual damage is 1,200

• If the opponent deals 1,000 damage and you have 20% dec DMG, you only take 800 damage.

ATK and HP usually increase when upgrading units or equipment, but inc/dec DMG is a fixed percentage, applied to the entire ATK or damage taken, so it has superior value in the long run.

HP helps you survive longer, but without reducing damage taken or increasing damage dealt, a prolonged battle will cause HP to gradually decrease.
Dec DMG helps reduce damage taken more effectively than just increasing HP, increasing survivability.
Inc DMG helps end the battle quickly by increasing overall damage, especially important in battles with many strong opponents.

Not only does it affect basic attacks, the inc/dec DMG stat also applies to damage from:

• Active skills.
• AOE damage.
• Damage from passive skills or special effects. This increases the effectiveness of inc/dec DMG in all combat situations.

ATK must exceed the opponent's defense (DEF) to deal significant damage. Meanwhile, inc DMG directly increases calculated damage, regardless of DEF.

Similarly, dec DMG reduces damage after DEF has been calculated, providing more effective protection than simply increasing HP.

Summary: DEF > inc/dec dmg > ATK/Hp ( now )
