BEST NAVY MARCHES
Duke/Meowzilla/Stromoy
Po/Crimson or Zhen/Layla

I recommend Meowzilla/Stromoy as you pick up both the Light and Heavy Armor shields to exponentiate all the damage of Duke (Who adds the third shield type) and both Meowzilla’s mechanic of stacking dam+/-, from her skills, by the amount of shields present and Stromoy’s mechanic of stacking dam+ for all damage by shields present. With this march you can use the Sasanian Chipset to +2 Heavy Shields on your trooper from Stromoy since you’re giving up Crimson’s and +2 to Meowzilla’s Light Armor to avoid the random attacks from 3 of the HT Troopers if they go first from higher Atk Spd chips wearing off the one Light Armor from Meow. This march is not Abnormal State dependent so you can push dam+/- SE’s.

This allows you to keep Crimson and Layla together on a second march or if you go the L7(ES7) route, Zhen, as you only need one Abnormal State with her and at L7 she’s a little stronger and more consistent. Also with only needing one Abnormal State with Zhen, it allows you to put any Ignition SE’s on AF and any Magnetic Pulse SE’s on Army because between Layla’s 6 missiles and Zhen’s Vulnerable’s from their skills, is all you need. This means you’re free to stack Dam+/- SE’s on this march as well.

Here’s why I suggest using Duke/Meowzilla/Stromoy as your main Navy setup with a certain HT Trooper. I will give you the numbers assuming ES7(L7):

With Heavy/Light Armor and Indestructible shields, Stromoy gives 150% damage to all attacks and with any level of Indestructible Titan SE on Duke this will increase this to a total of 3 rounds.
Those 3 shields also boost Meowzilla’s Splash damage by an additional 90% with her L5 bonus and her damage reduction by 90% with L7 bonus. The L7 also adds 90% to her active skill attack as well.
With the Gale HT Trooper in slot 8 & Fortified 13 your slot 8 adds 30% dam+ (40% at lvl 14 & 50% at lvl 15) as opposed to Assault’s top out at 15%. You will also pick up Stromoy’s back two row double atk buffer.
Gale adds 10% dam+ through its skills, a 15% dam+ for hero proc after finishing its regular attack through the application of a Vulnerable it it’s skill, and 30% dam+ from the Xyston chipset, although I highly recommend Sasanian.
The use of Gale HT will add 15% hit to all Navy stacks through its skill so if you run Pulse Jammer on Navy instead of Telex Chips you still get your added HIT as well as 130 atk power.
Duke adds 60% dam+ to regular attack added to Gale’s 50% to regular attacks through its skills to go with its 3x35% regular attack. Duke isolates his attacks to the back row and Meow’s attack can hit any stack but will also apply a large Splash Damage to the other two stacks in the column so she will always hit the back row too. This will help you eat up the back row and help take out Striker’s shared damage if anyone is using regardless of the troop type. And with Gale’s regular attacks, regular attack dam+, and Duke’s Vitality it will help you eat through the front row faster.

Here is the projected damage output using a 50% conversion rate for Crimson’s Abnormal State bonus that requires 3 states to achieve all 60% damage increase and 100% for Zhen’s as she only has to have one state to achieve all of it. The numbers provided are for L5 & L7, but do not include Stromoy’s damage increase mechanic, so Meowzilla’s final numbers will be larger as she gives Stromoy’s mechanic an additional shield through her Light Armor that the other two will not have in their march.

Meowzilla:
L5 damage per round with Indestructible up- 3,312
L5 damage per round when Indestructible wears off - 2,705

L7 damage per round with Indestructible up - 4,221
L7 damage per round when Indestructible wears off - 3,615

Crimson:
L5 damage per round - 1,953
L7 damage per round - 2,927

Zhen:
L5 damage per round - 1,714
L7 damage per round - 3,295

Not accurate and there seems there are few mistakes.
Zhen is not stronger than Crimson in terms of damage, he is only stronger in terms of proc rate.
Meowzilla is stronger than both but will grow weaker each round and after each hit (regular and trigger)

Duke will kill Gale at stack 8 immediately, so you sacrifice your HT for better initial damage. I mean this is the drawback of using the HT at stack 8 when Duke is around.

I would rather stick to Layla rather than Duke for main Navy, because Layla’s trigger doesn’t target last row and has 4 missiles, so it will weaken the march at random pace rather than focusing on the last row which is usually the encirclement row.

The order of strength in my opinion is as below:
1- Layla, Meowzilla and Stromoy
2- Layla, Crimson and Stromoy
3- Duke, Meowzilla and Stromoy
4- Duke, Meowzilla and Stromoy
5- Layla or Duke, Zhen and Stromoy

Over all the guide seems to have a lot of good highlights, but the drawbacks aren’t listed and the calculations are off.
