Zhen it self weaker then his ex won't do much. If you see the description they have added the crimson's increase dmg based on abnormal status 20% upto max 60% to zhen exclusive skill 5 and 7, 20% dmg each

So zhen ex7 slightly greater than crimson ex7. The difference is 10 to 15%

Yes the heroes are basically very slightly altered versions of Pacific rim. I think with collabs you're going to start seeing this trend where they just replace the previous collab with slight upgrades

Which honestly is smart on their part. One of the hard parts in this game with the increased variety of matchmaking is being in a newer server and missing out on big heroes.

Not having transformers and Shinji when I started was an issue

In TA2 we faced a server with Shinji and there was no good replacement at the time and it was rough for the whales

in description of both heros zen gets 20% on a abnormal state while crimson can go up 20% as a stack up to 60% then look at level 7 vs level 7 you will see crimson gets 6 hits while zen gets I think it was 5 only diffrence is zen grants 5% more vunrable than crimson as with crimsons level 5 exclusive he gets chance of 10% vunrability every hit

cause then look at po replacing gypsy's level 5 vs level 5 there is a slight increase on po doing better by a slight margin but level 7 vs level 7 po does 200% more damage than gypsy there is a chart out there with all the figures of this to so army/airforce got a boost while navy got nothing

It's a bit similar, protection wise (Layla offers a bit more protection during 2 rounds, from third round onwards, you get more protection from Zhen). Damage wise, it's a bit similar.
