It can, Po is Gypsy 2 (and by that, it's almost exactly like Gypsy). So, you can use Stromoy, Gypsy, or Po, depending on what you have, and how you combine your heroes.

Basic way to play is:

Just do what the game offers you. In a way, this gives very similar results to the best strategy.

If you want to go deeper, you can always check the remaining tiles, and decide which ones you should discard, but it doesn't guarantee you will get those tiles (opponent can get them, this is game of luck).

Other than that, game works pretty much in auto-pilot mode, nothing much to do, if you can take opponents tile (to make three, or 4 same tiles), game will show that for you, you just have to click on blue or red chinese character(s) (not sure, I don't know Chinese, so I'm not sure what I see, words, or just characters).

And, you assume what they are holding, by what they are discarding. 😄 Not that it's very much useful. In the end, game runs it pretty well, output is just great.
