Friends in Top War community,

During the past 3 weeks, members of server 1618 launched spending strike as protest to a fundamental flaw in the game following the introduction of Titan gear. The main message of our protest focused on drop rates and inequality of obtaining gear with special effects. We believe this flaw compromised principles of justice and fair competition among players, where luck and account age became major deciding factors. Consequently, a significant disparity in stats emerged, causing frustration, especially among players with older accounts.

In response, we launched the spending strike firmly and seriously, emphasizing the importance of transparency, justice, and equality regardless of account power or server age. Our boycott wasn't vengeful or coercive but a voice for change on behalf of the entire game community. This boycott followed numerous attempts over an extended period to negotiate with the developers, with communication continuing even during the strike.

Today, after reviewing the proposed modifications from the game developers, we observed:

1. Genuine concern for player protests and suggestions.
2. Recognition of the negative impact of recent changes.
3. Serious intent for change.
4. Major adjustments and compensation mechanisms addressing most challenges.

Thus, we extend our thanks to the game moderators and developers for their prompt and effective response, initiating substantial steps to address players' concerns. We appreciate their positive reaction, open-mindedness, and participation in constructive dialogue contributing to the game and its community. We commend the proposed modifications and tangible solutions for correction, reflecting their genuine consideration for the community and instilling a more optimistic outlook for the game's future. It’s important here to note that we are not claiming credit for the modifications as we recognize the role of many other voices including friends who quit the game.

In light of these developments, we, on server 1618, have decided to end our spending strike. This decision comes with renewed confidence in the game developers' direction and an optimistic anticipation of the promised changes they have started working on. We believe in giving credit where it is due, supporting the game as it evolves into a fairer, more enjoyable, and just experience for everyone.

Thanks to everyone who stood by us during this campaign, and thanks to the developers for turning our concerns into a path for positive change.

It is good that Top War are reviewing the titan gear problems. It is (almost universally) agreed that there is a serious problem. (In my view, the titan gear and especially the special effects have broken the game). They have made a proposed revision to the titan gear and asked for feedback. This is great that they are involving us. Having studied their proposed revision and studied other people's comments, it appears that the proposed revision to the titan gear unfortunately doesn't solve the problem at all. Out of 6 major problems identified, it doesn't address two of the main ones at all, makes a third one (the compensation) an even worse situation than now, and partly addresses the other 3 problems. There is a draft letter of response on the feedback channel (I have linked to it below) which tries to collect and consolidate various players' comments. So we give as clear and helpful a response as possible. We only get one chance to fix this titan gear properly. The initial Top War revision proposal absolutely does not achieve this. But I hope between us we can review the draft letter and give clear help in this process to improve the revision proposal. We all need this titan gear revision to be much better than the proposal, for the future success of the game and our enjoyment of it.

1618 stopped investment strike after diskussions with devs. How solution will be that they are satisfied. How new solution will be. We know about runes ... what is drop rates. must i get special effect firt (drop rate ?) to use runes for upgrade ? How will be the reiimbursemend ... quote for golden gears is unclear. will all players on all servers get this. or will there perhaps different quote on servers ? Everything unclear ... and can even in short increase inbalance even more.
