Refining isnt for normal average players yet imo. Try to collect as many gold as possible for now. If you have free time (xd), you put them on exel sheet of what you have. And then if you think you have enough, start refining them.

The sorting thingy aint optimised fully yet. so you cant see what you have there (with sorting option), unless you click individually.

So I can put that on Crimson for example since he has active skill. And I can put the magnetize 15% in position 4 on for example Stromoy in the same march? And it will all work where crimson produces the magnet damage and stromoy raises the damage from 15 to 30?

Magnetize only effects to the hero who equips it so if you place magnetize and magnetic field on crimson then he can apply improved and buffed up magnets but giving magnetize too for stromoy won't benefits crimson because it's only for the hero who equips it
