it purely depends on if you use val or not. If you use val with barbie, expect val in pure damage output to be x2 to x3 of max.

so barbie is like two max in one, with 65% hp up instead of front row damage decrease

also, if you fight people with stats below 2.6k, i say, stick to max. since max can one-two shot stuffs

Don't look at it from a point that a hero needs the other but rather look at the whole combination...layla will provide better indestructible buff with a debuff that boost crimson attack. I think tme basically said if you have hazel don’t bother and hazel is guaranteed while Brady is a bit more luck sided
