Okay, you can always move it on to different hero. If it's first level of rune, you can recycle it (thus having ability to put it on different type of TG).

Slot doesn't matter (except weapon and armor can accommodate different runes, so, leave them empty at first)

How does it work with Gates, Forts, and owning buildings like Temples or even Sol? Can you own a temple if you don't have a gate into that area, but have a fort? Can you hold Sol with just a fort but no gates into the center area anymore? If so do you still earn points

The basic idea is you need one of your building to touch the area you are trying to control and you need access through a gate in some cases in order to get into that area

Gold blocks are like spending money like usual, without jumping through hoops from your credit cards issuers (for example, I have to approve each transaction if I would do it regularly. Imagine buying 5 packages, it's 5 approvals, very tiresome).

So, you get all power drills, and other bonuses. VIP points you get not when you purchase gold blocks, but when you spend them. It's just easier and more convenient.

About better sales, I can't say, it might happen, it might not. 5% sale right now is better than what I had when I started using it (no bonuses, sales, nothing when I started using them).

Before, you could get heroes for gems only when they were released. I don't see reason why it will be changed for new heroes, except on new servers (those that will be created after the start of new hero system, but it's already solved by providing 6 heroes for gems and having Star Road).

As a FTP im being genuinely honest, you can get level 80 in a month maybe two but youll have 3 of the newest heros, youll have a super active server and youll be able to go through the helpful new player events like Tera Aurora and an Early Eternal Land. I currently have an account on 4328. It started 12-20 and im lvl 80 with 3 hero march and 15m cp but we have over 100 active players and a few big spenders that spawn all types of event loot

My concern is just that you wont have a chance at new heros for months potentiall

and the difference between like Alvida Shen Jester vs 3 heros from 7 years ago is really really gigantic ]

There is plenty but not recommended but if you have a bunch of unused heroes then equip them all the gold productions skills both rare and common (level 1 are okay as long as everyone able to equip it instead of a single hero equips a high level one, my ss is just an example). She's free hero, so, you can get her from island store (2k points per shard), or with red or green tickets, or in some events, places, opening gold shard boxes, many places. You get her over time in most cases.

She's free, old hero, not useful for anything, really.

Probably you got them in wrong currency (i.e. currency that you don't use).

First ask your friend in what currency he purchased gold blocks. Then, you can either use VPN, or ask CS to change it from that currency into yours.
