On paper, Sara has high potential to be much stronger than Quily. Main questions are:

How likely is for Sara to trigger 2-3, 3-4, 4-5 magnets? Is it 10% to get higher number? 50%? 1%? Quily does only lower number. With 50% chance, we can say that Sara is 50% stronger.

Second question is, as one source can give up to 5 magnets per slot, what is with overflow (more than 5 magnets)? Will it happen? Is it the same as Jett's es5 skill that happens so rarely that there's no reason to make Jett es5 ("natural" boost of HP and damage from es3 (10%)-es5 (21%) is not good enough in my opinion).

So, yeah, testing will tell, and it will take some time that all tests are done (I'll try to do all important tests ASAP, but with only 20 attempts in Hero Trial, you can do only so much).

as people will avoid to get a supply that has a 10m march back to the ruin

The Sasanian set says,“When receiving Resistance effects, its stack count +2.” But what does that mean exactly? 2 more stacks for the HT or all the troops in the first 2 rows that the Resistance effects?

Also, the Resistance effect says it’s not stackable. But the sasanian chip adds +2 stacks?

Don’t get me wrong, Stryker is one of my favs but I’m trying to see if adding Duke at lvl 6 will make my army’s march offensively stronger. That’s along with Po and Leon K.

Well, that's something that should be tested.

As we still have hero trial, you can test the two setups. Just use heroes you would use, make stats close to what you have, and do 10 attacks with one, and 10 with the other setup.

Put score in chart, like I do (for example, testing of #1382458340235542659 ) and you will see what's better setup.

And, difference between es5 and es6 is too small to play any significant roles. If you want es, just go with es3, es5, or es7. The rest is not worth it. Too much resources for too little effect. Plus, just to mention, es3 doesn't add any mechanics, but it's cheap way to boost stats (stats depend on hero in question, of course) for 10%.

For an easy guide, you can use the TCL “best sets” as a decent template for heroes.

Obviously each account is different and some runes require heroes with an active skill, but this is a fairly straightforward way to set up runes and even if not 100% optimal for your account, it should be a generally accessible template for players.

In your situation, you can change Crimson.

Layla and Ada are very similar, Ada is maybe a bit stronger because she targets slots without debilitation. But, overall, not worth exchanging if you're not whale.

Also, navy, due to navy indestructible heroes having debilitation, still benefits greatly from indestructible heroes (we can start to call them debilitation heroes too, with indestructible being temporary boost). Other unit types indestructible heroes are very much replaceble, but not navy.

So, keep Layla, go with Shen instead Crimson.

It's a continuous process, and investing money 💰 in heroes is not a good idea 💡 early in game.
Better work on stats and progress. Hoard enough stuff. Then only try to get either universal heroes or the latest meta. Once you have decent stats.

Put crit away. You only want to use it in pve
march size >def > dmg inc > dmg dec
But sometimes too much is bad. Since stats value decrease over time (For like 10% dmg inc is actually not twice as better than 5% dmg inc, the more you have, the less stronger it is) so I'd recommend you to keep all of your stats balanced (You shouldnt be having something like 500% dmg inc and 200% dmg dec since it is weaker than 350% dmg inc and dec)

Scorpion is by far the best, shark is good only when you don't have scorpion.

Just work on scorpion.

For defense, go with eagle, to help against suppression

I would work on scorpion and eagle, and ignore Shark. Shark is the least useful formation.

Okay, so I moved both +1s to scorpion and will move it back temporarily for WB but default to keeping them on scorpion. I did a few Warzone exercise battles and beat some players twice my march strength even with an underdeveloped specialization. Thanks for the tip
