That's something that needs testing. Since you can't use hero trial as there's different es levels, ask some friend to help you in Arena and test both combinations. It will be very precise answer.

For me, the dmg- and hp much more important. Even if you have 1000000 atk, the enemy also have speed 10 it will kill all your troops before you actually do any dmg. So need to survive first then dmg later

I usually choose dmg- first until my troops survive à least 2 rounds then dmg all in. Otherwise mostly survive 1-2 rounds wont go far with high dmg

Also put any speed on all HT will make all your HT go first since they have speed 10+ , deal much more dmg before the enemy does any dmg will lower some dmg taken further

That's what I'm saying, you need balance. Having big hp and dmg-, is nothing without atk and dmg+. About the ht, you're rights, also using all you're ht fully equipped it's a massive help. But also take in consideration that your cp will grow considerably.

Army

Army benefits most from shark, compared to other unit types. Also, army is the unit type that benefits the least from formations. Scorpion and Eagle also boost it, but in very equally.

In short, use shark with army, if you use all three unit types.

Key information is: If you use all three unit types

If you're army only, go with scorpion, it's the best formation. No doubt about it.

My explanation is based on case where you're running all three unit types, all are more or less equally developed (well, that is hard to achieve, as there's big difference on available heroes etc, but we assume you have meta heroes for all three unit types and all othere stats are more or less equal).

So, in this case, we know that you will put eagle on defence, you will put scorpion on navy (the biggest gain), and thus, shark on army, nothing on air. That would be the best choice according to available data.

I tend to work equally on all stats, with slight advantage on defensive ones.

I also do tend to give ATK and HP stats, not just DMG inc and dec. DEF stat is relatively low value in Kartz's trial in my opinion, the game values it too much, maybe only when you already have pretty high HP and DMG dec.

You also have to factor in that you get better stats with more attempts. So, sometimes it's better to first take offensive ones, to get one really good defensive one, as you will need 3, or more boosts before you can win.

In short, it also depends how many boosts you need before you can pass certain level. It's not just simple thing to say, always do that. Situation in Kartz' trial is changing all the time, and best strategy is also changing with it all the time.

Plus, one more tip is: Don't open boxes as you go, in my experience, there's a better chance to get more vouchers if you open boxes at the end, all at once.

Gold blueprint is a bit too soon for you, if it's your first EL.

So the 4 events are big power drill, small power drill, blessing clover, treasure of the stars. I can’t remember the order, I should probably know cause I have been playing the game for 5 years haha but in my opinion, blessing clover is by far the worst. You don’t really get anything great unless you buy it out and by the time you spend that amount, it still ain’t worth it. Big power drill is by far the best and treasure of the stars isn’t bad for exclusive skill shards

for example - I am vip0 and CE, as CE usually get more rewards in events (gameplay is not fair to MMs) and you need those rewards to get stronger. But you have to be very active in battle events

there are much stronger players than me that like more the gameplay of MMs and thats perfectly fine

Most players say that combat elite "CE" is for spenders and mechanical master "MM" is for f2p but that's not the case MM can accumulate ressources "RSS" much faster but if you're a VIP0 it won't matter to you because you can only research only one research at a time in the class tree, for spenders on the other hand who wants to rush Thier class tree (using real money)needs a ton of RSS therefore they advice f2p to choose MM

The reports I have read on testing is that Quilly, Nelle, and Binary will do more damage, so better for attack (even though it is not the meta). There is only one Marv and I do not have the older universal heroes, I was thinking counter attack of Leon, Marv, Po replacement for base defense and the Quily, Nelle, Binary for attack only.

Quily with Nelle and Binary is still the strongest army combo, much stronger than hostile line of heroes.

But, you can do that, use one set for defense, and one for attack. In which case, it would work in the best possible way how you suggest these heroes.

It's traditional. But, I have tested it enough to make me satisfied. In certain particular battles, Marvingt combo might be better, but mostly, about 70-80% of time, Binary and Nelle combo is better.

But, people want to stick to tradition.

Just to add, the stronger someone is, that is Binary + Nelle better.

Only case when Marvingt is better, it's if you're lvl 80 and bellow. If you're lvl 100, no way.

Xyston is universally the best. Scramsax because of boosting burn damage works with air nicely. I do aim only for xyston, as it's easier to get whole set, although some people go for mixed sets, if side chips are really good.

Leon does revenge hits from the 2 front rows, and air force hits 3 targets at the same time. So the chances arer higher that this triggers every round. With 3 Heroes, that all can trigger, there is not a difference anymore

Well, I would test it in hero trial, especially if they all have same es (hero trial is unusable if you plan to use different es).

Also, the factor to decide is, how much of upgrade you want to achieve, to be willing to invest resources.

But, Jill is upgrade over Po. Duke is not that good, I still prefer Layla and Ada, especially with Jester/Jill type of heroes, as you lose a lot of synergy by hitting last row, instead all (Ada targets slot without debilitation, Layla hits 4 times, so the two are pretty similar).

For example, ATK buff hero gets 10% ATK buff, if he has 110% like Jill does, you get additional 11% ATK buff.

All out surge special effect rune gives 3% at first lvl.

So, I'd say, it's worth it in case of most heroes. Relatively low price for significant boost.

Starting shield is as HP from HP buff heroes (same as ATK from ATK buff heroes, just for HP 😄 ).

You get more HP, for example, if you have 1000HP, with 5% starting shield, you will have 1050 HP.

Damage decreased influences damage you take.

It's not directly comparable, and it also depends on how much you have of both variables. As you have less starting shield, and HP from HP heroes, and usually more DMG dec, starting shield is more valuable.
