You could try the iterative process. Write down an informal and very rough outline. 10 or less items. Then fill each item with 5 subitems. Build a text skeleton if you want to call it like that. Then fill it out with "flesh". When you are done read it and revise each paragraph. Then again and revise each sentence. Use a thesaurus.
