This game is insane. First they sell you a Bugatti (Valhalla), then they tell you that to drive the Bugatti you bought you need to pay and rent it from them (Odinium), then when they see nobody does it they implement Emergency Repair with the excuse of doing something nice for the players (your precious Bugatti’s you can’t drive unless you pay again are now safe in the garage!), changing gameplay dramatically and forcing big whales to use them. I’m still at ancient history hear (18-24 months ago). The more I go on the more the story is the same at says they don’t care about clients and longevity of the game but only about milking as much as possible as quickly as possible.

My point is that forcing the whales to spend 4K/day instead of 1k/day etc etc eventually forces them to quit, which leads to less whales and more pressure to monetise them more. Much better to find a way for everyone to pay 1$ and increase the average spend slightly. Leads to a more balanced game that requires less expensive upgrades and has a significantly more balanced user base while still monetising whales

Nearly 2 years ago, I told peeps that the game was clearly shifting onto an unsustainable slippery slope when it became clear that hero rollouts were accelerating and that lvl7 exclusives were trending to become “the new lvl5”.
