Hello, I'll show you text I send to my alliance, so you can see how to play gacha:

it's the best event to get base skins for gems, and gems you get in time between gacha. I save all gems that go in inventory for gacha.

gems from droids, world boss and some other events go in inventory and I don't touch them until gacha.

when gacha starts, there's only two methods that I recommend, even if they talk about more methods in topwar bible:

1. main method is where you always take premium gacha until you finish it. this can cost up to 46,5k gems, but you can get lucky and get 300 premium candies for much less.

if you want 2 base skins, you have to do it at least once, but it can be repeated with different color of balls for more premium candies.

2. safe method, you just open gacha for 60 gems and take whatever you get. it's about 25k gems for 240 premium candies, which is enough for one base skin.

safe method can be done only once, as you can exchange candies for premium candies only up to 300 candies. that's why you need to do premium method for second base skin.

Last gacha was 6 months before. I'd assume that saying it's every 5-6 months would be correct. You can use this time to get enough gems for next round of gacha. It's really great for many things, not just base skins.
