Your leadership needs to actually lead if you want people to be active by the end of it. If you start a server war between top 2 alliances during the event, you lose by default probably.

If your leadership gives up, the little guys are going to lose interest, and likely not make it to the end being active. Gotta keep people building, since most don't understand the fighting mechanics early anyways

Just a small update and clarification on the EL / TA / TA2 topic. From my point of view there are currently 3 EL-like cross server competitions:

EL - The classic 8 server Eternal Land that is happening twice a year.
TA - The first version of Terra Aurorae as a 4 server competition. It looks like this is part of the new server schedule and every server plays TA around 4 weeks after creation.
TA2 - A rather new TA version called Terra Aurorae Total War as a 8 server competition. This version has been tested with 2 fights in December with chinese servers.

Prep stage is three days where you have to hit df one day to gain the intelligence chips, donate troops one day and hit Warhammer another day. This gives some good rewards and a ranking for your server which gives certain buffs, but save VIT for the actual EL.

Not really. Biggest advice is if not in number 1 alliance is to not tick them off. The one in our server burned everyone who did not follow "Their Rules" after TA was over and went back to their server. If you're f2p just farm and keep your head down so they don't get mad at you. Good Luck
