I wasn’t aware of this controller. I’ve got a set of NSO and 2 pcs. 8BitDo modkits. How does input lag compare on these? And how do they feel? I prefer 2.4G, but then again those other two options feel so good. Only thing I’m missing with them is the 2.4g

Not a single controller out there though (with the exception of the 8bitdo stick on a true N64 Controller PCB) seem to be able to get the values or the gate shape right though. I don't understand what is so hard about that. Brawler 64 gate is the wrong shape and values are lopsided on a lot of the controllers, 8bitdo wireless mod values are too sensitive, NSO stick is too. Honestly? The closest I've gotten has been with a GC + Gbros, and on real hardware a Raphnet + GC controller is close.

Dunno, the nso driver also works for the 8bitdo modkit since it acts like a nso controller, but has the repairing issue, no matter which bt dongle.

These work really good. No noticeable lag for me in the games I've played, quality is better than the price IMO, they ones I got come with both 2.4GHz and N64 adapters so you can use them with your original N64. If you want wireless and the original controller shape they are hard to beat for the price.

Build quality is identical to Retrobit's, same parts pretty much. And they're very cheap on Aliexpress. A friend of mine has the USB version, he built a MiSTer yesterday so I'll ask him to test it in the core and see how it goes.

I switched from the combined Wifi/Bluetooth Dongle to dedicated ones. No more need to re-pair between reboots. Tested with NSO N64, NSO Genesis and NSO SNES Controllers, and some 8BitDo Bluetooth controllers. Rumble on the NSO N64 Controller also works in the core.

TLB is part of the CPU, but games don't have to necessarily use it.

It's like SIMD in x86 (MMX, SSE2, AVX, AVX512, etc.). You don't have to write code that uses it (or compile your code to use it) if you decide not to.

Not sure how much it can dump from a cartridge, but when/if mappers are implemented you'd see Crystal is the worst. After "full load" of the GB ROM, it will stutter on most summary screens the first time you look at them. Subsequent tend to be fine, so not sure how it's doing it. All the Gen 2 games are like that to some extent. New route loads, little hang as it seemingly pulls from GB ROM

19 TLB tests passed. Currently only Data path is covered, not instructions. Also TLB mapped reads/writes don't work together with CPU cache, so it's sloooow. Exceptions(e.g. page miss) are still all missing. But a nice start. At least one game is already working with it, more on that later
