got through most through Woodfall temple before audio cut out. I just exited the dungeon, saved at the owl and reset, got through the dungeon just fine

it really seems like the game cannot hold the speed to feed the samples. sound is probably RSP like most other n64 titles, so this could be fixed already when the RSP is fully finished

It would appear that's the case, south clock town has alot going on so it gets the audio bug pretty quick, gonna keep playing anyways. Just won't be trying to spend more than 30 seconds in south clock town

Game seems fine other than the audio bug that can prevent you from learning songs

Oh I guess if the audio bugs happen, your ocarina songs do nothing so can't play the song of time to go back to day one. The owls still work to save tho

By default it comes with the superfx unlocked at its full 21mhz potential! (the original game was at 10mhz) - it also has experimental options for 30/50/60 fps but they require emulators with heavy overclocking required

but you can also swap to PAL mode and get up to 25fps legit

Also best way to get everything you need for the core to run and keep it update is to check the pins and you will see a single line that you can add to your downloader .ini file that will mean everytime you run updater script it will grab the latest test core from Robert and the latest .txt databse file so you will always be up to date 🙂

you cannot use a different cpak like you cannot use a different eeprom or flash. Only if you copy file on your sdcard. cpak handling will be exactly as all the other save types. If you need more than one per controller, that's an edge case you need to handle outside of the core

No, it's the linux driver that's not working all that well. The unstable nso driver works for the modkit as well, rumble and all, but you have to completely re-pair it after disconnecting.

yes, cut of the last 128kbyte for all 4 cpaks and split them in 32kbyte each if you want. You might have to do little/big endian conversion to use it in some emulator or so

Wave Race 64 has a very cool feature that not many other N64 games have - you can copy all your best times and custom watercraft settings to a controller pak and import them onto a different cart's internal save

early in the N64 lifecycle i figured a bunch of games would do stuff like that but nearly none did 😄

with batteries it weighs about as much or maybe more than the controller itself, which is pretty light

Star Fox 64 has easily-accessible rumble. I don't remember if you get any in menus but immediately in the first level you can hit the water with your wing tips to get a gentle rumble, then start colliding with the ground for a stronger one.

@wanton sun can you add this changes of @modern sleet in next build? It fixes a lot the sync problems with analog out (people use CRTs) for me with this changes only goes out out of sync when loading a rom in osd.also other users test mikes core and works very well in crts
