_STV folder with arcade folder that has MRA files.
I don't specifically remember any mra files I thought that's what I downloaded from the GitHub page
Select them from arcade on osd.
So I don't select the Saturn core that I placed in the mame folder?
I'm hoping to work on a tutorial video later.
Nah, load via MRA
Awesome. I think I need it lol.
By selecting it from arcade in osd
I'm hoping I dont F it up 😂
Ok I'll have a look at my memory card when I can and see what the hell I've placed where lol
Nah mate I got faith in you bro
@pearl harbor I sent you a DM
woo!
Saturn fans, why is there a custom patch program required just for Saturn games? I mean I'll play ball, I've got it installed and I don't mind using it at all. But why do that instead of using xdelta or whatever else is out there?
If the answer is "because they want to", I totally don't mind. They make the patches, they call the shots. I was just curious is all.
@winter phoenix ^
The Saturn patcher utilities is really good tho?
You can put your original disk into a PC and the software will apply a patch file to your very own game
Yeah it's really good!
As well as a whole bunch of Saturn, specific features such as region patching, etc
You’re not gonna get that on LIPS
ohhhhhh
Like it autopatches the region or it applies different patch per region?
sorry for all the questions, I always wondered and finally I'm in a community of super smart Sega fans where I can ask lol
The SSP does not rely on specific rips of a game, so it's less picky than Xdelta. SSP also can include metadata linking the patch back to its SegaXtreme resource page so the patcher can let you know whether the patch you're about to apply is out of date. Additionally, the patcher can display a readme file if one is included in the patch. It also has some options for how you want to make your patch, like making it region free (might break some ODEs or emulators or whatever), separating tracks (not separating tracks might break some ODEs/emulators), saving the files in whatever file format you want (BIN/CUE, CCD, whatever), etc.
Holy shit that's awesome!
yeah, it's good. you just have to install .NET 5.0 on your system, which some people have a hard time with.
So it's nothing specific to how the games need to be patched because they're Saturn games. It's because they saw an opportunity to deliver a better experience?
the SSP also lets patch makers very easily make new patches by just dragging and dropping edited files onto the program and clicking a button to have it make the patch
I believe it does accomodate for Saturn-specific quirks with CD file structure, too
This all makes a ton of sense, thank you.
That part isn't perfect, but the developer has been busy with other stuff and hasn't gotten around to totally fixing it
As an ignoramous, the patcher seems pretty perfect to me lol
He's had to make bespoke versions of SSP to accomodate certain games that people wanted to make patches for
that's wild, wow
when the original games are formatted in weird ways
So I didn't know about all the features it supports. Sounds like it should be the standard for patching.
As an end user, it's a very nice tool and the features it brings are huge quality of life improvements.
@winter phoenix My two cents, the benefits of SSP should be made more clearly. Or maybe it is and again, I'm an ignoramous lol.
Or maybe that doesn't matter at all. Just speaking for myself but I just always assumed they did it that way because they wanted to.
So I was like, whatever, guess I'll install yet another program lol.
Gotta read through the readme updates, I suppose https://segaxtreme.net/resources/sega-saturn-patcher.73/updates
Yeah true, I've made zero effort to educate myself on it lol.
@winter phoenix if you ever want someone to gush about how amazing Sega is and how they're sorry for not being there when Sega needed their fans the most, I'm your guy.
haha sounds good. TBF I abandoned Sega, too, going from Genesis to N64 back in the day ...
if they'd made Sonic 3D Blast and VectorMan 2 Saturn exclusives, though, I would have been a Saturn owner Christmas 1996
you got a Dreamcast tho, right????
nope, GameCube 😆
They released the DC less than two years after I got my N64, I couldn't justify asking my parents for a new console so soon! By the time I was ready for a new one, DC was dead 😦
Well, you dodged a bullet. It was an amazing two years but also literally just two years lol.
And most of the best games got ported to other consoles anyways.
yep. I bought a few of those for my GC, too (Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 and Skies of Arcadia)
Buying a Saturn for Vector Man 2 and 3D Blast would have been hilarious in hindsight.
Almost as funny as me buying a PSP because all of the Mega Man X games were supposed to be getting remakes.
Or me buying a 3DS for Mega Man Legends 3.
Or me kickstarting Mighty Number 9… wait, why am I a fan of this shitty franchise?!
Only if you have a PC! Us Mac users get a kick in the nutz!
can’t you use something like wine or proton?
Where is this zip of STV MRA files? not seeing it pinned?
I see now
Eh, when I can't patch myself, I just wait for the romantic place that's no longer romantic, but is totally still the same romantic place to do it for me.
Many would say the same about the 3DO. 😉
Ok I’ll do a proper post that links that and provides instructions.
Thanks for commenting on that, it helped identify an issue.

We're doing our part to build a better mod. 💪
Robby Austin, the Six Million Dollar Mod
STV this and MRA that,
y’all should get yourselves some MSG (Mobile Suit Gundam) and play a brand new fan translation
I just had a problem with : in some filenames. For example Puzzle & Action: BoMulEul Chajara (JUET 970125 V2.00K).mra. It might be good not to use this character.
I have underscores on those files
Colon shouldn't even be allowed for file names on Windows. Perhaps an ALT code was used... or the files were created on Linux?
Or changed during a transfer
For those curious here are all the STV BIOS compatible games in mame format, not all will be compatible with this core without their associated hardware such as the print stuff and MRA.
Nice to see you around @patent ingot
Kinda back brother!
Video done. Thanks all
Always in 100% with Arcade
Weird thing though. On one of my misters cotton games, guardian frorce, VF kids wont start
I tried a different MiSTer and they worked (as shown in tutorial video)
No idea what the issue is
only one core in aracde, same MRA pack and roms
can you swap your sdcard over
I could, but not right now
Actually scratch that, Im curious brb
deffo something on the SD card
no idea what though
You guys figure out the STV BIOS EPR-2360 issue? Difficult sorting through multiple bios with just to find a japanese one.naming convention is not helpful without peeping each .zip 😄
possibly. I'll delete it and try it again next time
had to delete controller configs to clear the issue
Perhaps different stvbios.zip files?
thanks
same on both
You probably copied everything needed to both systems at the same time, so I guess it's safe to assume the content is identical on both...
mine are all in one zip, including 23603
I hope the tutorial does help people.
Nah, the tutorial was fresh on a MiSTer i probably did not boot up since last year.
yea that's preferred, seemingly not all are that way
All the games shown in the video were filmed after the tutorial
yeah I had to hunt it down
thanks again for doing that, PCN. It will help
videos make it easier for folks
Appreciate your help. Thanks for pins tip. I mentioned it in the video.

Everything necessary should be in the latest MAME 0.274 stvbios.zip file.
It's probably been that way for several versions. I'd have to check the Rollback ROMs set to see when it was last modified/updated.
and now I will use PCN"s video to set this up on my mister because I haven't done that yet
A test build for people who wants SFZ3 once more.
I have partially reverted the SCU changes but that've might reverted also Asuka 120%.
I can't fix the VDP2 at the moment and will see with srg320.
If I get back from work early enough tomorrow. I may live stream on dual ram, as I haven't tried that version yet.
I have STV up and running thanks to PCN
Anybody recently play Arcade Gears Vol. 4 - ImageFight & XMultiply (Japan)? when play x-multiply, the score is not fully displayed but it is partially in the overscan on the bottom of the screen, on the top of the game there seems to be to much space. Hmm then again i also see this in emulation, so guess is it a game issue. This is running latest stable core, after running update all today. connection hdmi.
Done, when I get a chance I'll also add instructions to the pins
Original game issue.
I have some game captures from an original system, as I had the same question in the beginning of the core development.
I actually tried searching but not hard enough, thanks for confirming
SFZ3 is working again with this core.
I've tested the core before sharing it and I was 99% sure the SCU was in fault here.
The VDP chips and the SMPC one could not do that kind of freezes.
Is STV not going to go into update_all?
that would require the update all core to have stv functionality no?
we are not at that point yet
although we are surprisingly close already
specifically that the next revision on update all will ideally only come out once the stv games all work
except probably Batman
(unless maybe Batman could be stubbed out with less than 1% of the FPGA space)
Batman is a suprisingly good game, but you can always play the Saturn version.
There’s a Batman Saturn game?
Just read up on it, seems ok.
ok out of 10
STV seems to be Sergiy's main focus now eh. I wonder when the main Saturn parts will get buttoned up further.
Excited to eventually try STV stuff when I have time though.
sort of true, but only in a perceptive sense
the increasingly few bug fixes for the saturn library are all that’s left
but a small fix on the stv side yields a lot of immediate results
that's true yeah
it’s so incredibly close to done
a couple of linux side conveniences, a couple of fpga side fixes and boom
then MVG can make another one of his impossible core videos lasting 10:01 for that sweet sweet ad revenue
Yeah, on PSX too. It's based on a terrible movie, but as a beat'em up, it's pretty good. I'd say a strong 7/10 for a beat'em up.
That being said, I only have the arcade one, I just assume the SS/PSX ones are a direct port, maybe with different music
Ok, pins reordered and I added a walkthrough on getting STV games to run (mostly copied from the GitHub repository)
Anyone tried the latest princess crown 0.9v translation? I had 0.85 working, but 0.9v won't boot for me in the core. I just replaced the old cue and patched bin with the new ones. Maybe I am missing something?
maybe,
try out some of zets core builds just in case
different seeds and fitter settings
Wow that was fast! I'll be following this later when I get time 💪
Works fine on my end.
It works for me. I have also tested the EX version and so far no issues at all
STV working well, thanks to everyone who contributes to this core, and big thanks to PCN for the tutorial Video.
Please tell me, are there any games that were released ONLY on the STV platform, which were not on the home saturn?
Dynamite Baseball (1996)
Dynamite Baseball '97 (1997)
Heisei Tensai Bakabon Susume! Bakabons (1996)
Sport Fishing 2 (1996)
Stress Busters (1996)
Sando-R (Sando-Rettō)
Othello Shiyouyo (1998)
Pro Mahjong Kiwame S (1996)
Name Club Ver. 2.0 (1997)
Elan Doree: Legend of Dragon Knights (1998)
Also note that the arcade version has differences between console vs arcade
for example, groove on fight is better on STV vs console
This (pointing to Toyas post) 👆 Also I think its worth noting here the STV games used Chiptune where as the Saturn used CD Audio. I heard some of the ST-V games were even ports from Saturn like RSG.
Radian Silvergun is better on stv vs console
Oh, thank you very much, it will be interesting to check, otherwise I could not understand the meaning of this STV, now it will be interesting to test and compare.
STV vs Console
Groove On Fight
- Higher resolution graphics with better sprite detail.
- Faster gameplay with no slowdown or input lag.
- Instant transitions between rounds (Saturn has loading times).
- Saturn version has extra characters, but the trade-off is lower performance.
----------
Radiant Silvergun
- Better sprite clarity and smoother animations.
- No load times vs. Saturn version.
- Some sound effects were compressed on Saturn.
- Saturn version has an extra mode (Story Mode) but is slightly slower in spots.
----------
Cotton 2
- Better enemy sprite clarity and less sprite flickering.
- Smoother scrolling and performance.
- Saturn version has minor slowdown in busy scenes.
- Load times exist on Saturn but not on ST-V.
----------
Cotton Boomerang
- Faster gameplay speed compared to Saturn.
- Saturn version has loading times before levels.
- Smoother frame rate on ST-V.
----------
Final Fight Revenge
- Saturn version is slightly slower due to hardware limitations.
- ST-V has smoother frame rates and no loading screens.
- Sound quality is better in ST-V.
----------
Shienryu
- Arcade version has better colors and sharper visuals.
- Saturn version has slight sprite compression.
- Minor slowdown on Saturn in busy scenes.
- Load times exist on Saturn but not on ST-V.
----------
Astra Superstars
- More fluid animation.
- Faster and smoother combat.
- Saturn version has frame skips and minor slowdown.
- Loading between fights on Saturn.
This is great, thank you!
Still better than the RS Extra hack?
Hmm wonder if some of that’s just an STV collector making shit up in a forum 😜
(other than load times of course)
extra also has ST-V version
Thus I am fine with just the console version?
No need to play it separately on ST-V?
This core is worth the cost of a mister alone. So good. Keeps getting better.
Got my STV setup on a separate memory card along with my Sinden setup.
I mean, if the differences noted above doesn’t bother you then yeah. They sure as hell don’t bother me so I’ll just keep playing the Saturn versions.
Thanks Toya
I may quote these in a stream 😉
Load times aside I'm not seeing any differences in STV Astra Superstars compared to Saturn. https://youtu.be/xylnr-YdBQc?feature=shared
Vc Decide | Astra Super Stars/Astra Superstars Comparison - Sega Saturn vs Arcade ST-V/ Sega STV (Sega Titan Video Hardware).
Another feature , not a bug @ripe valley 🙂
Robby does his “it happens on hardware” end zone dance
(there’s a lot of tea bagging)
Astra Superstars is one of those titles that will use extra cartridge RAM if detected, so the note about smoother animation probably reflects running the Saturn version on a stock console
Final Fight Revenge and Cotton 2 also use expanded RAM
Cotton 2 only uses it for extra voice clips
Final Fight Revenge requires 4 MB of expanded RAM just to run, though
I don't have my original hardware accessible, so I didn't checked by myself.
Classified, one more down.

yeah, the game is straight busted

Batman Forever: The Meth Game

Awful Block at GDQ events are often the best parts
50 Robins Kicking, the lost line in the 12 Days Of Christmas
Dude I would've had a blast with this game if I saw it in the arcades
lol you fight an actual bat
The game is completely unhinged
ok I'll stop spamming the chat
What if Cocaine made a game: By Acclaim
sorry
I went from reading about the game and going "sounds ok" to this being my most hyped STV game to play
I need a stream of you playing this for the first time
it'll just be me laughing like an idiot, going "WHAT THE HELL" and yelling made up terms for every Robin combo
"ROBIN WITH THE SLOPPY JALOPPY"
That's all it needs to be!
"ROBIN GIVING RIDDLER THE OLE TURNSTYLE TWISTER"
This sounds like the best stream ever
This is why the extra hardware to get this game working might actually be worth it
||spank me||
Naw, STV was built towards higher end arcade CRT Monitors, audio, and controls compared to their console counterpart.
Yeah just skeptical because I have an STV and Saturn and have never noticed much difference for the STV games
By much I mean any
But haven’t done side by side
Yea , you're not wrong to feel that way, really need to nerd out to notice haha.
Yeah well I don't have a Saturn or an STV and I can tell you, the differences are vast. Don't need to own the hardware to do research my friend!!
Sorry I wasn't making fun of anyone other than people who don't know stuff just regurgitating info, which I sometimes do, so I guess I'm making fun of myself
Running Saturn games and STV versions on an arcade through Mistercade, we can really see the difference
Is the resolution different?
sharper more detailed
STV monitor is just a 15khz standard res tube 240p/480i
I don't see how unless stv has a higher resolution.
LIke i said, you need to nerd out on the details
That doesnt address my query.
Candy cabs in Japan would have been all over the map monitor wise but in the best case MS8 or MS9 on Toshiba tubes which will look similar to a D series or a pvm for ms8
Run shienryu. regardless of 15khz dispplay, pixels are compressed on Satrun version
Do you mean the sprites are lower quality?
ive tested on both a Capcom Minicute and a Sega New AstroCity. its clear as day
I've got an og astro with an ms9, looks the same to me lol
Again that doesn't answer my question.
I was curious if the backgrounds look less pixelated in arcade Astra SS
But I suspect reported differences are subjective monitor / calibration differences unless someone can find documentation there are diffs
Now the no load times? Hell yeah
this also
It will never be answered until you see for yourself.
That makes no sense whatsoever
Either the assets are of a lesser quality or they arent.
what does compressed mean?
It's kind of funny that you can tell when a game was ported from the ST-V to the SEGA Saturn for the simple fact the file sizes on the disc are really small.
Good ole redbook music
I'm psyched to try this STV stuff
Better than catching an STV, I always say
I also suspect that some people on the arcade forums say for example Cotton 2 looks better on STV because they spent $800 on it and then realized it’s just the Saturn version 😜
I wanna try guardian force with trap15's input latency reduction patch, wanted to give that a go for a long time.
You wrote that exactly as I was trying to remember that game name
Love the lasers
Batman Forever has a dedicated sound board, which apparently means the ST-V sound quality is higher - but that's also why it doesn't work 👹
funny it can be true for some, if they say it performs better alongside their sentiment, then i'm 100% on their side 😄
its does perform better
Yeah no load times is best part of arcades
Until you get to systems with load times but that’s about where I stop caring
Is it possible for regular Saturn core to implement the fast loading possible with Saroo carts
Diehard/deka dynamite also feels smoother still clunky controls on STV arcade version.
Oh yeah there are differences just not sure visual fidelity is one of them without proof
I'm curious to see Radiant S in action on STV
IIRC it uses the three-button controls by default?
visuals are those that are affected by compression/ less on screen sprites, and slow downs related to 1:1 on screena ccuracy, not so much gameplay haha
Yeah doesn’t have the Saturn load transition problems
Wonder how much the carts cost to make back then
at the end of they i';m fucking happy we get STV on Mister. hopefully we'll see Sony and Namco's PS1 arcade soon
Groove on fight is another example
Yes!
japan region is three button, all else use two which sounds horrible!
radiant silvergun uses different controls based on region
yeah, 2 button RS lol
you just don't have access to some weapons
Reading shmups forum and other posts on shienryu and everyone is saying graphicly stv is the same as saturn in tate mode...
hehe
Yeah the best part is not having to change anything to get tate
Though shienryu is one of the ones that saves tate I think on Saturn
It was only like two games the others you have to change to tate every time which is pretty annoying in a cab setup
So STV is great to be a no bullshit arcade setup
Im curious how large of a CRT they are running it on, everything looks great at 20" 😄
That’s my homie LRock. He’s an awesome arcade streamer. I learn a lot of games by watching his 1CCs.
He seems like a real gainer, I mean gamer

Anyone have the old retroshooter guns working?
I have it almost there but it is stuck on the vertical axis, not picking up horizontal. Using f10 doesn't help.
and yes I am using the latest unstable nightly 🙂

i found others posting same deal with the X axis
i am going to stop being lazy and just get my Gun4IR out and be done with it
just didnt want to have 2 sets of leds hooked up to my oled but tired of messing with this stuff

should put that on the gun4ir discord

why you need a second set of leds tho? are they not setup the same?
retroshooter repears are my main now
they go in every corner of the tv for a 4 setup
gun4ir goes direct center top/bottom and sides of tv
so literally the entire thing looks like there is a sensor on it :\

Do all the S-TV games that could potentially work on the core have .mras now? Are all the blank entries on the sheets ones that need weird extra hardware like funfair rides and print stations?
I saw this account a few days ago, but I was concerned that talking about it would only fan some scene drama
It’s dumb and the internet continues to be a mistake
It’s a troll account, I wouldn’t pay attention to it.
Yah, I mean of course he’s wrong lol
anyone using a guncon1 and reflex adapt as a virtual light gun for the saturn core? If so how are you pressing start to advance past main menus (area 51, house of the dead, virtua cop, etc.). The trigger, A, or B button on the guncon1 do not act as start
Maybe srg320 slips a real Saturn into your house while you’re sleeping and makes it look like it’s the mister
nice ill check tomorrow
Nice!
@ripe valley do you know of any good low level vcd card usage documentation? I have found a register list but no usage docs
It’s a troll human 🤣
lol oh it really is a troll account. Nvm

Never mind. Looks like I found a good resource.

I fixed it. The latest MiSTer unstable doesn’t like my TV I think.
@naive whale I was genuinely really sad for like 10 minutes lol
I can't help too, sorry.
gonna capture more STV. Is unstable main necessary or is that just for cheats?
saw we had new MRA zips but thats about it
I've had some time to look into the topic more, I'll try to do something when I get back from vacation next week.
you might want to wait a bit on ST-V. he may split the core soon
This seems to be the best option
and are we still on the 2/18 core?
I would grab zet's core. They are pinned
perfect thanks. Missed that. Haven't paid as much attention in the last few days as usual
still just renaming it saturn.rbf and shoving it in the _arcade folder?
got that yesterday...perfect thanks
gonna capture in a bit
I updated them about 17 hours ago, so if you grabbed before that, update them
it adds the eeprom stuff so some of the games that require twiddling settings now just work
I think I grabbed the newest set but ill grab again just so I dont annoy myself later haha
lets give it a spin
god Baku Baku Animal is creepy lol
Astra Superstars has some weird things going on
Known issue. There is copy protection for that game that isn't implemented yet, so the graphics get corrupted
Astra Superstars has some weird things going on
its a vibe. I am including it in the vid
Sir, it’s a video game, not an emotion
hmm Final Fight Revenge just seems to black screen after the patent info
maybe I misread the sheet
nope there are just two MRAs
i forgot how stupid hard Golden Axe: The Duel is
Maruchan De Goo time. What a wonderful weird game
yeah i got it going, no issues! thanks
is it a pain to setup for mister? or is it just having to set up the LEDs?
This would be a great tutorial series for someone. A video for each type of gun setup.
yeah, he did that to send a PR, although it's a script issue so I'll just fix that
Golden Axe: The Duel got SO close to being an A+ fighting game. They just forgot to make the gameplay great
Classic mistake
would’ve rather they released the revenge of death adder on stv instead
I can't see them pinned. I'm currently on mobile.
I'd like to try this game against a human.
Against the CPU it’s an impossible task

thanks zet. how do we know if the timings are failing on the github side? (or do we not know until we run it)
You have a message at the end as : Timings requirements not met.
does the build on github report that? or do you only see if it you’re compiling locally?
@naive whale @old pasture Might want to hold the presses. new saturn just dropped
I’m not doing anything time sensitive. Just touring through games
Someone lmk if DHA is working now though 🙂 or if Astra has its corruption fixed (doubtful)
I've never checked during the compilation by the bot.
I'm at work, so I'm just launching them remotely.
Thanks. Out with the family for a meal tonight. No vids today.
News video tomorrow.
I have a choice tomorrow evening
- Go to the arcade
- stream STV
Right now, I have no idea.
It's not such a big problem, it's worse when there are critical errors
it's kinda random sometimes tho. I had a psx build that failed with just 'timing requirements not met' and the video had a bunch of purple columns in it.
he's got ST-V to finish!
Give him 15 minutes
I’m glad he’s splintering it into its own core. That way it can be modified to function more like the other arcade cores.
obs choice. Go to the arcade
makes much more sense
Do both, stream STV from the arcade
I'll see how I feel tomorrow.
vs an appendage of the Saturn core
Haha, this is the way.
Did he announce that?
I dont care if you have to blow lines of ground up beans...YOU GO TO THAT ARCADE SON
If I go arcade Saturday, I'll do a stream Sunday
Saturn core updates have been coming very rapidly recently 🤩
That's because he's trying to finish it asap so he can focus on the amazing 3DO!
No, it’s being considered
He's been prodigious lately with updates to SNES and 32X as well
I think the limitations of the hardware space coupled with the remaining needs for the arcade side and console side will make that an eventuality
he basically said doing it makes the most sense since it frees up space in both cores
he may not split the repo, but just do a define that lets you build one or the other
Oh, smart. That’s a great approach.
it might make distribution a bit more difficult so we'll see
That’s a Zakk problem, not a Robby problem
you know what else is a Zakk problem? Robby
Let me run update all from the main menu
going to check the regression fix for SFZ3
SFZ3 = Street Fighter Zero 3?
yea
That's Saturn and not STV though, right?
right
Thanks. I kinda got excited, thinking there was some version of SFZ3 on STV lol
We’re currently running a core contest. Whichever core gets the least amount of likes will no longer be developed.
waiting on my hand-rolled Zet-Sensei build
So you single ram people better get with the reaction emojis.
Robby core is cancelled
What about members? Can we put you to a vote? Stop developing you?
Delete Rob AI 2025
DS version crashed on my end, I had to relaunch it manually.
Just a typical Quartus that can't do 2 cores at the same time sometimes.
@ripe valley what’s the difference between the builds you post and the automatically generated ones in #unstable-nightlies ?
Zet's meet the timing requirements
the core is getting so full that the bot build on github may not (the previous unstable did not)
Oh so that one is just a “guaranteed it will work”build?
yup. basically that
the zet-sensei seal of quality
@rich violet I noticed your first reaction to the new builds was the Ukrainian flag. That’s a really nice gesture. Thank you for being considerate.
It's a very small gesture. I'm just very grateful to srg320 for all his work
That’s really cool
I accept your praise
It’s funny how much personality comes out of adding a simple reaction emoji
srg3D0
The DS build is the dual ram one right?
Yes
so who's testing DHA first? Ive gotta leave the house lol
DHA?
Yeah. Better to test on build compiled by user
Die Hard Arcade.
I'm on stage 4.
So no bug report based on the unstable night lies
I gotta pin that list @wet hull posted about STV improvements
Does DHA have the horrible res switching on stv too?
I'm loving the trippy lines in Astra SuperStars.
And I can finally credit feed my way to victory in Die Hard Arcade! Take that Saturn version!
Yes die hard arcade is better on stv
I've tested on the single, dual and my builds just a moment ago.
Same coherent results.
For the compatibility lists, I'm only using official unstable builds.
Baku Baku Animal is doing good so far.
There is a lot of info to convey on the Saturn core currently. Feel free to message me your feedback on what I can do to improve the pinned posts.
Oh my god, Decathlete is so trippy.
I can finally Find Love.
I didn't know that Robby was playable in Funky Head Boxers!
Winter Heat looking good.
Haha I put ot in a vid for next week to explain why
I told the story as to why it looks like that
It’s pretty funny as to why they designed it to corrupt w/o the protection present
Are there ways to change dipswitch settings for ST-V games, at least for now?
most of the game settings are in eeprom
you have to go into the test menu, 'each game test' -> system assignments
So if Im using a usb saturn controller with no extra buttons for coin. Can I use a keyboard for that or Im assuming the s-tv being arcade games dont use all the buttons on a saturn controller. Are some of them safe to set as a coin button and never be used for s-tv?
Depends on the game
Some use six buttons so I recommend using the shoulders as coin and test. But that still leaves you short the service button. You’ll need test and service to navigate the test menu effectively
Max you need is D pad + six face buttons + start + coin + test + service. So 10 buttons max
With a generic SEGA Saturn controller, you can repurpose the L and R buttons for coin, test, or service. But that means you are always one button short.
If you have one of those aftermarket controllers with the extra inputs, then yeah you can fit everything needed.
always wanted these but the m30 has usurped it from a sheer price point
Are those really something I will use alot tho?
I never use test on arcade core and service maybe once to change settings the way I want them and never touch it again
Looks like I should air this vid soon then
You are welcome 🤣
Really the problem can be overcome with an OG Sega pad by just setting the games to free play too
Then the coin button is unnecessary
Ok I know others feel this way too but I hate using freeplay. Part of the arcade experience to me is popping quarters in even if its just a button. Yeah it may sound silly to some.
There's the M30 Xbox version. It has extra buttons compared to the original M30, the only drawback is that is wired (not for me though).
But I have tried just setting all the games I could to freeplay and ended up switching back for that reason
Well the saturn controller I currently used is wired
Great then. The M30 Xbox version has both start and select buttons, plus R2 and L2 triggers in the same form factor as the original M30. More that enough buttons for STV.
Another "all purpose" controller I recommend is the Hori Fighting Commander Octa, specially the Xbox version. Works wonders on N64 games.
That looks cool
I mostly use this one as my main controller for all cores, except when I need to play dual analog games on PS1 where I got a Pro2 wired Xbox version.
this is a crazy request my dude
that like, an entire remake of a core from the basement level type request
and requires even more resources than the current core, which uses 99.8% of the chip
also your other issue posts are resolved
yeah unless there's latent pause functionality in there and srg just didn't think anyone would want it
(i dont think there is)
Sorry, did't know it was so hard to implement, seeing as other cores have it . Truly, my bad... 😩
he can always just close it, nbd, who knows maybe he has some crazy trick up his sleave
it’s essentially making a new version of the saturn architecture that can halt all functions and hold everything in ram. doable for sure on a bigger/faster chip tho
sometimes just halting the cpu is enough
I took a a break from MiSTer for a couple of weeks and GD it looks like there have been a lot of developments.
Saturn looks like it's ready for prime time? STV is approching complete?
Wild
it’s so close my dude,
Damn, nice!
actually @untold cloud did you PR your improved lightgun support? for the 480i stuff?
BTW, any luck with Sinden with the new unstable main?
I'm interested in getting one...
it wrks but you still need a custom kernel and cores
they do have a saturn core now too
as soon as you can use modern analog sticks as a virtual mission stick (and its secret twin mission mode) i’ll play Panzer Dragoon until my eyes bleed
@tacit viper save this man from himself
Man, I wish the Sinden setup was easier
only kinda joking, Sinden on Saturn has given this man nothing but a headache
It's the ideal gun for plug and play
they've got a setup script now, its meant to be better
they got sorged hard when they tried to make it official
hypothetically
That's why I'm interested; no sensors, just the gun.
-# meanwhile i go round glueing leds to all my displays like an insane lightgun focused santa
Don't do it dude. The sinden cores for Saturn are really bad ATM - sound stutters, graphical glitches in thod, pita to setup, not as accurate as a gun4ir.
have you gone thru the ball ache of adding/swapping out led sets?
Just to show I'm not talking out my ass
Not yet need to find some mounting tape. Sigh
I did do a jank setup just to test and it worked first try with gun4ir
you know what, one of those retroshooters, with gun4ir guts would be preem
openfire working very well too
Last I knew it was mostly DIY
much cheaper
Retroshooter
They are amazing and by far my fav gun
The recoil with 24v is so bad ass
The creator was in here looking for support a while back
I haven't tried them with Mister yet
if you’ve got a wiimote lying around and a couple candles you can get a basic setup working right now
or as i call it, gun4poor
Does Retroshooter work on MiSTer yet?
Old guns do not
The x axis doesn't work bc you can't put them in joystick mode
Repears apparently do, I'll try tomorrow
Yeah, I'm into cleaning one I have since the battery contacts are messed up
ah, alkaline strikes again
I just want a lightgun that I could use hassle free both on PC and MiSter, without breaking the bank...
Sinden is far from hassle free brother
If anything it's the biggest pita of them all
Yeah
I've had two Sinden's fro the very Indigogo start
I tried it on MAME once and got so annoyed that they've lived in the box since lol
I tried setting mine up with Mister just to use them actually
i was lucky i was somewhat broke when the kickstarter was announced. i just couldn’t drop the funds needed on it.
then i did months of research on everything lightgun solution before gon4ir won me over
I looked into it and it still was not at the level of easy I was wanting. I hate fork cores.
The recoil on them is very good and the gun is balanced well, but the setup and the white boarder sucks when you know you don't have to have it. Sinden drivers have issues on Mister too where they partially load and you have to cold reboot it between switching cores
snac8 was my first biggest disappointments on mister
made the whole reason i built an ironclad itx setup pointless
yes you can plug two neo geo controllers in with a snac adapter, but the osd is so broken with the option enabled no game can be loaded
Good lord, $250 for just the gun...
Yeah, forks add an extra layer of support from an additional individual. Not fun.
I use the sinden guns but really have had no big issues with it. I just use the sinden core builds, run the sinden driver and it works. Do not even need to do any calibration. I do keep an SD card just for the sinden lightgun. Haven't really updated it in months but everything works. I don't think there is a Saturn sinden build yet, it wasn't available the last time I checked their GitHub so no reason for me to update yet.
How's the dpad? The amazon reviews say the dpad isn't good for fighting games but that's not the end all for digital controllers.
I have two of these and it's fine
I have the PC version (which I think is the one folks complain about)
excited for this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0DVB2JB1K
Break free from cables with the all-new HORI Wireless Fighting Commander OCTA Pro for PlayStation®5 and Windows 11/10! Featuring an octagonal gate analog stick, 6-button layout, fully equipped with microswitch buttons, analog slider pad for in game lobby navigation, and programmable rear buttons ...
the original retroshooters work now, wickerwaka added it
Does mister support using the slider pad for anything? Like mouse control?
supports their hybrid keyboard/mouse scheme
Oh nice I'll have to see if I can find the Mister file needed.
you should just need the latest unstable kernel/main
yeah on dualshocks the touchpad acts as a mouse
Nice!
i wouldn't start playing point+click adventures with it or anything but its handy in a pinch
I installed the latest unstable last night and it was stuck on the Y axis, X did not work unless there is a setting you have to change.
Not that particular one, no. I'll give it a go, thx for the help.
Never had issues with it. I play a lot of execution heavy fighters and the dpad works great for me. I have both PlayStation and Xbox versions of the pad.
What's better about it?
wireless. 6 face buttons. "dual" analog. Feels like it may replace the m30 as the "general purpose" mister controller for me
Ah, missed the little second stick in the pic. That's a bit smaller.
If it's for camera, I guess it'll suffice. and it'll stay out of the way of the buttons which should be nice.
100 USD? O.O
yeah.....yeah :/
The dpad on those Hori Octas seem to be very divisive based on the Amazon reviews and Reddit
I have the old fighting commander and it’s not bad but I prefer the m30
Dual analog and 6 face buttons? Sounds like what the retro-bit Saturn pad should've been, if they hadn't botched the mapping of the c/z buttons :/
I have the Xbox one, and yeah the d-pad on mine was shagged. Diagonals basically non-existent. After god knows how many hours, found the solution was to get creative with a lead pencil.
Yeah, I admittedly haven’t put enough hours into to have wear and tear issues with the d-pad. it not being wireless made it less preferable to the m30
I got bored of manually keeping the the ST-V MRAs and Saturn core symlink up to date, so I wrote this little script to do that for anyone who's interested https://gist.github.com/davewongillies/5794a63753ce25d8d5ff17f8ab7d86a7
Script for updating the Saturn core symlink and MRAs for the ST-V core on the MiSTer - README.md
looked at the new octa controller
no analog triggers, no buy
everything else about it looks excellent tho
The Octa Pro has 3 different d-pads that you can switch out
Is this an update from the one last weekend?
(Which was good btw)
its been updated so it is level with the main repo
this is bad ass, dave. thank you
Awesome 👍
I'm running a desperate SD card with your core for the gun and Zets STV *Desperate SD card 😁 *Note to self Dont type whithout glasses, whilst walking the dog
just running update_all with the added lines in downloaded.ini
looking good so far
I think I may use an arcade stick with ST-V, since it is an arcade system.
It'll also have enough buttons.
Oh, it wasn't wear and tear with this one, straight out of the box it was crap lol. But managed to fix it and now it's sweet as. Definitely getting that wireless one with dual sticks.
Yeh im using my arcade stick and it's Sweet
Hi! Although "Terra Diver" is stated to be "playable" on the compatibility list of ST-V I'm getting a black screen upon booting the cartridge. Am I missing something here? I'm using the latest nightly build
No problem at all for me on Terra Diver.
Please check your ROM files & MRAs.
Do you have the last MRAs files from Zakk (v4) ?
Latest MRA? Where? I did dl them some time ago
The file doesn't say v4. I got them on the first of february
is the latest core in unstable nightlies now?
Yes.
new mra are working ...THX
sorry i meant Your version with the timing fixes etc?
I've done just a change on the compiler the last two times and the last unstable (with the bot) seems to work even without changing the seed.
The timings aren't met on my last builds too after checking once more, but the core is working so far.
Ah ok thank you
being a complete sicko i was compelled to fire up stv pebble beach
interesting graphical glitch (maybe, i can’t exactly compare to original hardware), when you turn to aim your shot the grass textures go all flat shaded
worst of all, no Craig Stadler
nice par, let's hope you win next time 🙂
woo! i’m playing an officially licensed pokémon game on sega
howling with laughter watching my guy in winter heat face-plant almost immediately,
Taisen Tanto-R rocks graphics glitch aside
DH Arcade is so much better than the Saturn version. Especially good with Arcade Stick
Better in what ways? Does it still switch resolutions like crazy?
Theres a patch to help with the saturn version res switching, works well. https://segaxtreme.net/resources/die-hard-arcade-dynamite-deka-240p-patch-language-fix.368/
Patch for all regional releases of Die Hard Arcade on Sega Saturn which make the following changes :
Forces the game to always run in 240p resolution for better compatibility with modern displays and certain upscalers that lose sync when...
For flickering in Grandia
Single sdram
Test core
I already use the patch on Saturn and has helped a lot. But I was wondering if the stv version has the same issues. That would be a big no for me.
i wonder if it’s incorporated the ram overclock
No it's not switching resolutions at all. Also everything seems much smoother, sound is better too imo.
Thanks! I was waiting for that game to try stv!
As I don't have the issue on Grandia, I cannot test for srg320.
DonPachi issue should be classified as invalid too, issue on user's side.
No worries. I think it's definitely worth setting up as it's not too much trouble to do, and it's getting better all the time.
Note I had disconnection issues with the RetroBit Saturn Pro V2 on m RetroCastle MiSTer.
The M30 is perfect in that regard, it never ever disconnects.
Just turning on fast timings when loading the game save on Grandia affects the background layer; makes it scroll much smoother.
fast timing on all versions is an improvement , going through them again one more time to see which was the best
Has anyone ever discovered a bug with fast timings enabled?
This is a very good question..
If nobody finds a bug with this, double RAM would be irrelevant again. And I have both single and double RAM MiSTer builds, but prefer single for obvious reasons.
The fast timings couldn't fix this: https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/Saturn_MiSTer/issues/251
With fast timings I once crashed some game , unfortunately I do not remember which one , it does not repeat every time
It's more like nobody bothered to check bugs with the turbo because it's deliberately inaccurate to compensate for the RAM bottleneck.
Ah! Saw SRG's explanation... thanks guys
fast timings with these builds did seem to have less flickering. i had the most luck with saturn_1 but saturn_3 also seemed to work. it did not eliminate flickering but reduced it significantly. thanks 🙂
I've crashed Virtua Fighter once, with Fast timings.
that’s 2 saying 1 was bestest
@river river Just fyi for your script, it's throwing errors for names with colons in them error: cannot create /media/fat/_Arcade/_ST-V/_JP Bios/Puzzle & Action: Treasure Hunt (JUET 970901 V2.00E).mra Invalid argument
I corrected that in the repo, but I haven't done a zip release yet
I probably should, Batman andthose puzzle games boot now
How’s the sound on Batman without the sound board? I’ve never known what sound it pivots to the additional hardware
What method do you guys use to update the latest unstable nightly?
non-core, main mister
never robby, never
the Batman sound board will be replaced with almost-accurate recordings of Zakk yelling RIDDLE ME THIS! at you
Can you get a partial soundtrack out of Batman?
except when Robby plays it, it'll yell YOU CAN'T RUN UPDATE ALL FROM THE TOP MENU
Can't recall if the sound board was just for HQ samples or what
I remember that cab was louddd
It seems that way, maybe? The board itself looks like it might just be several big ROMs and a DSP chip
I don't recall ANY sound when I was testing, but it's probably 50/50 if i had my sound turned up at any given time
Might take some additional trickery
That game is janky af anyway
Batman Forever intro and gameplay. Played and recorded with DOSBox.
Good to know. I wasn’t sure if it held SOME of the audio or all. I have some arcade games with additional sound boards and some put 100% of audio onto them, others will just be SFX or music so you’ll get half audio
I didn't play too much tho, was just testing MRAs so maybe it has some sound later
Batman working on ST-V?
I wanna stream more than arcade.
ST-V has me excited. I tried Die Hard during the news video filming, it ran superb.
Glad ive managed to load the stv desired games 🫶🏻Thank you @warped saddle for your github notes
©️SUCCESS! 😉
Beautiful 😍
About the STV roms, do you put them individually in games/mame folder or in an STV folder there?
Individual
yes sir . they are arcade games , they are mame . they should be used like any other mame zip game (games / mame )
not forget to put in games / mame the stvbios.zip & satun rbf to core folder from _Arcade folder
and mostly they are exactly the same as the Saturn game , just with poorer music
I have this up in the pins but here’s a list of differences between the STV and Saturn games - #1046941029296779344 message
Use the MRA in the JP BIOS folder.
I updated the Google Sheet.
Die Hard Arcade works
Batman Forever playbable with no sound on the ST-V now.
Final Arch is now working
Mausuke no Ojama the World working now
Two of the Puzzle & Action games are now playable
Sando and BoMulEul work. Treasure does not
Baku Baku doesnt exist in the JP bios folder
Oh... sorry.
I get this on loading:
PMing
Thats what I have it set to
That's your problem. Incorrect stvbios.zip file. Need an updated one that includes that binary inside.
the error message cannot get any clearer
Got it, it was the stvbios.zip that was incomplete. Got it working now thanks
It could be a little clearer. That image is a bit blurry...
🤓
Lol
I have CRT filters, since I´m stuck on a flat panel this weekend
Batman Forever appears to be missing the KICK button
Missing the right bios rom in the zip. Grab the one from the latest mame set
I checked. It’s all inclusive of all the variants
Thanks all, got it working! What an amazing core
Actually, no, not yet.
It's becoming quite hard to keep chasing all the new updates. And I have no idea how they are all going to fit atm.
I saw somebody doing some new builds with a different Seed value in Quartus, which might have saved a bit of space?
Every time somebody else does a PR / code change, you have to re-sync, then figure out how to re-apply your own stuff if it gets overwritten.
Doing a git pull can handle some of that, but I've never been confident with using it.
The tweak for 480i was simple enough in the end. I could probably just do it as an Issue, rather than an actual PR.
Good to see Batman running, btw. I thought that was one which might not run, because of the missing sound hardware.
I really wish MAME could have added some kind of file version or date, to the zip filename itself.
It took me a while to find the correct version of the stvbios.zip file, with the 23603 BIOS in.
I found at least five versions before that, which were the older ones.
Today, I showed a friend the MiSTer.
I wanted to demonstrate the fast timings setting, so I loaded up DIgital Dance Mix, a game that, as far as I knew, struggled to run with original timings. Namie Amuro would sometimes not dance at all with original timings.
Lo and behold, it was running reasonably well with original timings (though still better on fast timings).
Same here
This core continues to blow me away.
Thanks for the tip!
Working great now! 😌
Hi @untold cloud !
Apparently MAMEdev added that particular BIOS with v0.258 back on 2023-08-30.
-sega/stv.cpp: dumped "EPR-23603 (Japan 00/10/24)" BIOS, removed obsolete hack from sackids [TeamEurope]
Found that by searching for all references to bios in the release notes history specific to stv, for what that's worth.
https://github.com/search?q=org%3Amamedev+stv+path%3A%2F^releases\%2F%2F&type=code&p=2
Maybe someone will archive it somewhere on the internet one of these days
Mame is pretty easy to get nowadays
In-case people weren't aware, Zakk put out release 5 of the STV MRAs about 7 hours ago - https://github.com/zakk4223/STV-MRA/releases/download/release5/STV-MRA.zip
@burnt matrix pin this. Works great #1046941029296779344 message
I just finished a live stream using @ripe valley 's latest compile. It works great. So many games work. An amazing experience.
Thanks @mortal mist for stopping by too.
Times are tough all over. All of mine are either in storage or malfunctioning.
"Mame is pretty easy to get nowadays"
It's always been a pleasure... and dome you forget it. 😉
well, it could be combining saturn audio with the extra samples and then amplifying everything
I do miss the fanfare of the old site
I hear ya. Me too.
The unilateral decision to unceremoniously shut it down with no announcement to the rest of the community was always a sticking point with me and the other staff members. It felt like a shitty thing to do... but it was the admin's decision, and that was that.
Not to pry but what happened?
He was just done. He got tired of dealing with the tracker and the forums... and he had no desire to hand it off to anyone else to allow it to continue on.
What site?
The process of creating the torrents for each new MAME release was pretty much automated by that point, so that's how it lives on.
Pleasuredome.
Robby thought that site was something else
Now you have to git your mame set elsewhere
One day there will be a front end you can just drop the 4tb of roms and chds into and have it JustWork™️
only after Robby scrapes
I thought it was a Kubla Khan reference lol
It was, actually... or maybe they were just really big Rush fans (which works for me, too). 😉
Obtaining them has certainly come a long way.
I still remember using mame.dk ~25 years ago.
Ugh...
lol. Yeaaah….yeah. The dark ages
don't know why but my sega st v when loading die hard jusf freezes in a green screen
you need updated core
I did that using ver: Saturn_unstable_20250221_164d3a but no luck
try this core: #1046941029296779344 message
and make sure you have the most up to date MRA files
make sure you only have one saturn rbf in _Arcade/cores
preferably named 'Saturn.rbf'
Still no luck indeed now i get a full black screen
Nevermind don't know what just happened but finally it's working thank you all
I’m back on my bullshit!
Maybe someone can make a patch to skip the patent screens when loading stv games 👀
patch cinemas to skip trailers
Someone knows why if i let the demo rolling of die hard arcade STV at some moment i have no more sound ?
Same for Sega Rally
Radiant Silvergun litterally Freez when i launch the game ...
Single or dual ram? Fast timings?
Single, original
I've not heard of that problem before
You're using the latest unstable?
and Zet’s too?
Yeah, I was about to suggest trying Zet's
last unstable yes
@tender axle #1046941029296779344 message This is Zet's build
just a shoutout to kuba for the composite blending, incredible what that does to Die Hard Arcade
Have you always had problems with the sound in this game?
This does not yet prove anything
Yes
And same prob with Radiant who freeze when i start game
I didn't had this prob before
New bulid for Grandia tests
grandia has probably accumulated more playtime by being used as a test for mister than the game had when it was supposed to be a game
It also doesn't help that you can't skip the intro
It's hard for me to count how many times I've watched it
I can't stand that intro anymore...
you can make a save pretty quickly near the start to skip over it
although sometimes you can see the glitches in the intro so you don't even need to watch the whole thing
Only once upon a time we didn't know that flicker occurs outside the intro sequence 😅
If grandia works on the Saroo I might just get one of those lol
It works on the MiSTer? The problem with the texture flickering is that it doesn’t happen to all people so it’s tough to nail down.
I'm glad I could help and do something. I'm working on two more things , hopefully they will “fit” into the core
well hopefully soon you get a bit of room
testing now
If folks need a save for grandia: #1046941029296779344 message
i’ve gone thru them all 3 times
Saturn_1 from the last batch
and now 1_0 thru 1_3
it’s looking like 1_1 or 1_2 offers the only appreciable improvement
We really need to ban this Grandia discussion. Like it's an obvious RAM bottleneck problem, but people want to shove the square shape into the round hole.
i prefer the movement of wall/floor with 1_1 but the differences are subtle at best.
i closed the original issue on github when srg split it over dual and created an instant fix
and i got hate for it
now someone has remade the issue and SRG is pouring his time into it
Just imagine how the chats would be if we arbitrarily banned discussion of everything that was thought to be 'impossible' on MiSTer over the years...
we are honor bound to tell him if anything is better so he can make the call when to move on
Not the same thing.
We already have the solution, but people are really bizarrely adamant on bringing up this problem despite srg320 making it abundantly clear that the single RAM build will have a RAM bottleneck and will impact any games dependent on the RAM timings.
srg320 is ready to work on whatever he wants.
If he wants to work on the RAM issue, that is his will.
He could also ignore the issue ticket if he wanted or even close it, but he has an idea to improve the situation.
It's not up to us to say anything, or even argue, but to help him as best we can.
really his initial deal was he couldn't reproduce it at all
it blows my mind
Of course it's similar. For the longest time it was 'obvious' that Saturn was 'impossible' on the DE10-Nano. Then, it was 'obvious' that it would require dual-SDRAM. Now, here we are, with one game exhibiting problems with single-SDRAM configurations. Naturally, some are holding out hope that a work-around will be found, or at the very least a 'good enough' solution... such as the one currently being discussed now.
4 different misters
8 different ram chips
power supplies, sdcard, copies of the game
it's also possible it was happening to him but it was subtle enough he didn't quite see it or something
every variable i could find did not fix it, to the point i was feeling like anyone who claimed it was working for them must have been running the old core that still worked right
I think we should be more than happy that he works once again on the Single RAM issue on that game.
And the 3DO core will not be and was never his only objective of 2025.
all this work on fast timings and it’s very similar to your seed10 build
I think he found a way to reproduce it by reducing the frequency of his DDR3 memory: https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/Saturn_MiSTer/issues/355#issuecomment-2660932553
3DO should be everyone’s singular goal haha
After posting that he started making test builds for the issue anyway
Zakk proposed that iirc
"I knew you'd say that."
Hah I mean i do love 3DO
Hi Videogame esoterica
But the ooh face is coming soon with a brand new project that’s going to be hilariously diff than VGE
Heyo
Shh! That's his secret identity!
lol only server I’m not VGE on because everyone yelled at me to change back
The Art of Peer Pressure
Hi all where on earth can i ge epr-23603.ic8
You’d want to look at MAME files compatible with .274
Obv can’t link here but nested within that file set would be the stvbios.zip with all the proper bios files
Look for stvbios.zip from a version of MAME from v0.258 or higher.
That's when that BIOS was added.

Got it, thanks AWBacon and MJY71
Now to play some STV (literally been waiting years for this core!!)
It's not 100% yet, but it's in a good place so far.
Based on the progress of other cores which I have observed over the years, I'd say it is almost there
The developers of these things are GOD
Having issues getting the Mister Menu to open with the latest Unstable Kernel, anyone else?
I had the same issue with the green screen after the Winners Don't use Drugs screen. What did you do to fix this?
weird used the hcrop saturn core from the other day working great. Latest one seems to freeze on menu.
I haven't made any changes since then for hcrop
I have no idea either
The core freezes on my mister when you load the bios, cant do anything
Loaded up the older hcrop one I am playing virtua cop as we speak 🙂
rancid weren’t you having trouble with something similar with the jaguar core? like something to do with direct video and the vvs setting in the jag core?

but it’s too full
