Like yeah you can "scale" serverless garbage by just paying more
To me it seems obvious that spinning up a new container and runtime for (almost) every request is a bad idea compared to just running a bigger server
Unexpected spikes in traffic aren't actually that common, most of the time you know in advance when you can expect a huge spike so you just overprovision by 20% and then you overprovision hard whenever a spike comes up
really ain't that hard
