#How do i start programming? What should i learn first?
49 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
well, i want to make a game on gamemaker, and learn other things like: sites, codes and etc.
i may even want to work with it
"sites and codes" is very vague
yes
and "codes" is extremely vague
programming, and computers in general, take everything very literally. it always help to be pretty specific about things
well, in that way. My specific goal is to make a game.
i know there's a lot of different games
and the first thing i saw that i need to know is how to program
and it appears that gamemaker uses C++
well you should probably learn C++ then, if you plan on doing something that requires C++
yeah, but people say that C++ is more complicated, so i will start with something more simple.
but thanks for helping me
after i learn more about Python i will learn other languages.
like C++/C#
You learn a lot when you start with a low-level language, but if you just wanna learn programming to do things ASAP then learn python. You can learn most things you need in ~1 day to one week depending on the resource you use then start building projects and learning libraries along the way
python= good library, easy to learn, strong language, slow language
Lua= good for injectable exploits, easy ish to learn(easiest way to make exploits (injected)), fast language, you can become a roblox dev if you know lua
C= good for bypassing kernel level anti cheat, hard language, very good paying in the exploit/work market
i dont have experience with anything else
This is absolutely wrong
Bypassing kernel ACs or doing exploit work in C# is not a thing
Anyone even remotely serious (i.e. anyone that's not a 13 year old with his $20 gift cards) will not be using C# for that (and most of the relevant skills are not actually programming)
+then just c?
Yup, basically all professional implants are written in C (or some form of funny C++ without the STL)
i don't even know if you can use lua outside roblox (i mean in a serious company ou anything like that), i am studying python and it appears to really simple but effective, and C i don't know anything besides it's more simple than C++ but "less effective" i guess ( i forgot the word i was going to use)
lua was most used as a lang to make addons, is quite rare to see lua being used to build complete softwares
you can use lua for anything
but it's not common
looks like we have a pentester here
Lua is good for exploiting
Jesus christ
Mostly used for scripting in stuff, I remember a few games etc. having Lua support
Lua for neovim 💪
:peepoban:
Easy way to make money
Are you braindead or something?
Roblox "exploiting" is not something I would call exploiting and is probably not something you'll make good money from either
You're completely wrong about implant development and seem like you've barely grasped basic concepts of Python, please just focus on learning programming and stop caring about all of that infosec stuff
if u think about it like that, working for a company def gets you way better salary but you can make "good" money from developing exploits too
And it does not have to be roblox it can be any game
And u can call it anything but at the end of they day its still exploiting
with exploit you mean cheetos?
Yeah
Dirt money is not good money
its still money
Its still ilegal
So?
