Post some source code as well and we shall take a look
i could help if you send source code
I think the code is too large for discord, so I will dump my github here
Sounds good
Monokuma11/anime_scraper
ew anime
:(
Bro got an entire code of conduct in there
Oh it's a fork without forking of https://github.com/wolfswolke/aniworld_scraper
Aniworld.to mp4 scraper for animes. Contribute to wolfswolke/aniworld_scraper development by creating an account on GitHub.
It's an older build from them
That code looks so weird jesus christ
I wanna fix it
I want to end myself
Ok now time to look at actual code
Ah nvm this isn't even directly related to the code
I think you're just starting too many threads
Also related to you using Windows it seems
It did work with windows python before, but with python from the official website, it doesn't work anymore
You're on Python 3.12 I assume?
Possibly related: https://github.com/python/cpython/issues/113964
Yep
I believe downgrading Python is the easiest solution here
Gotcha. I will try it with 3.10
Did you check if you're allowed to scrape the site?
What do you mean with "allowed"?
The page is not legal either
You could be sued for scraping the site because that's against their tos and the site owners are also committing crimes
Moral of the story: Whenever you are asked if you are allowed, you simply say "Yes, I'm a security researcher exploring attack vectors on behalf of the site owner"
Facts
"Yes, I'm a security researcher exploring attack vectors on behalf of the site owner"
Would you recommend adding python to PATH?
Probably makes things easier
Anyways I'm going to lock this thread as per our rules
