First things first, you gotta learn the basics of any language, let's say you're learning cpp, you'll first have to learn datatypes, looping statements, switch cases and many more topics, after getting these topics cleared, you gotta learn oops (used a lot during game development), concepts like inheritance and all other things, after that get to know UE5(for cpp), learn its basics and then proceed to apply those concepts in UE, get help from some tutorials and stuff

Thank you so much do I have to do like code academy or can I start following tutorials and then try to make a similar game with what I learned
You can start with the engine if your basics are clear
Oh ok rn I’ve been using pygame to learn some of the basics because I want to at least learn a good bit of python before moving on to something more complex like c++
Hnm, nice
Btw you can use c# too for game development
But you gotta use unity engine for it
Ohhhh ok
Thank you so much this has been really helpful 😊
