I am located in Australia, you can be located anywhere as this is play by post over Discord. 1 post/dayish.

You have near free reign for character design, no droids, kids, or soldiers.

You will be a member of staff on The Astraeus, an interstellar way station for transport and cargo vessels to refuel and get repairs whilst moving between colonies. Affectionately called "The Ash Tray" it's more repairs than original components, and seemingly every other day something breaks, forcing a sector to be isolated. It was already an antique when the oldest hand on board started their apprenticeship and they've never seen it ever fully operational in the 20 years they have worked on it.

I am open to which faction owns it and will make the setting fit the characters. Players need to make the characters fit with each other.

We'll all build the map as we need it by using the tiles from here.

I am very open and can happily come up with something to fit a group.
Right now I have Company Agent (a low level rep that has been kicked out to this far off spot) or a Roughneck who manages the processed-food distribution & service…

So that would fit.

Some junior scientist geek could just be in love with the idea of frontier life, or the possibilities of AI and synthetics. Young people are like that sometimes..

I plan to play a straight-laced officer and station veteran that has seen at least one crisis while aboard, a meteor strike and resultant food shortage. This experience has made him more comfortable with making snap judgement calls in the heat of the moment (Field Commander).

@sudden agate perhaps we formed an alliance of sorts during the food shortage, seeing as your roughneck character managed food distribution and service.
