Setting Controller Buttons Issue

After updating to latest release, my configuration was reset. I like to have Jump on 'A' and Kick on 'Y'
I couldn't set that unless I also changed the controller configuration for a new action Kill

It only let me save after changing this as well
Not sure why they would be tied to each other if its controller preference

Dear @rapid olive

If you see a red box while reassigning keys, it means the selected key has already been assigned to another function. Please scroll down the Control settings screen to check if any other keys are highlighted in red.
If so, try reassigning that function to a different button, and then proceed to assign the keys you wish to change.
We recommend assigning the function to a key not already in use.

I was able to resolve this, but I had the kick and kill action mapped to the same button

There is definitely something wrong with setting controls now, I have no red indicators and no matter what button I try to assign it doesn't react

Nevermind, it's because of ability also being mapped to 'B' that I had to change it again.*

Yeah it seemed like the latest patch reset some configurations

I was like how come I can't jump? 😂

But play around with the mapping a bit and then you're able to save

If you're talking about the save button being greyed out for setting preferences, there may be another action you need to remap before the button is clickable again

That's what happened to me

No it just simply won't react to any button I press, I can unbind a key but it's impossible to set it to anything

The apply button is not greyed out for me

It just simply won't let me change anything, neither keyboard nor controller keys react

Sometimes it won't even let me unbind if I mess around with it too much
