As PS5 version is released, sometimes, turning off crossplay doesn’t work, and I still matchmake with other platforms.

I wondered too, turns out crossplay means with or without PC players, not "PS only"
so if you disable it, you will be matched with PS and probably Xbox console players
I figured this out when someone in the lobby was high level, achiev unlocked, custom nameplate, and unlocked outfit

Nothing wrong with playing crossplay on, I always do. It’s just making my trophy hunting easier.

Tbh crossplay OFF should mean you play only with people from same console, in PS5 it should be ps5 players only.
Its annoying to face high level players who stomp you just because they have 5x/10x hours more of experience. Game is just more fun when you have lobby full of noobs and nobody knows exactly what is he doing 😉

ditto, I'd like a more granular option. grinding all over again on PS5 while matching seasoned Xbox players is no fun

In my experience, it doesn’t seem to be working at all. I see more PC/Xbox players than PS5, even with crossplay turned off.
