I'm wondering why my fish throws are so accurate but still fail to knock out opponents. Is it due to a problem with the game's physics or has the fish's damage been reduced?

fishes are really weird now, even if its a point perfect hit they still sometimes just flop over

not only fishes, the physics are just whack right now and players are sponging/flopping away from hits that in earlier versions of the game were a knockout
