Hey I have asked this before a couple times in this server but I still cant find any fixes: I cant hear anybody in voice chat in game but my friends in discord are telling me that people are talking, I have checked my listening scope, checked my voice chat volume, checked my default audio devices, restarted my computer, and reinstalled my game and nothing has worked.

No i cannot, but my friends always hear their voice chat
I can see when they use text chat though
Okay, could you answer the questions below:
- Is this happened consistently?
- Can anybody hear you?
- Which device are you playing with?
- Can you hear other game sound normally?
- Are you using earphones or speaker?
- Yes, it happens every time I launch the game
- Nobody can hear me in game, my friends in discord can hear me, so I know my hardware works
- I am playing on windows 11 on pc
- I can hear all other game sound normally

make sure you don't have streamer mode enabled in the settings! this happened to me and i clicked it on accident and thats what the problem was
sadly I have checked that as well :/ I just checked it while playing today and it still isnt working
So, there is a Microphone Test in the Game Settings - Sound. Could you try it and see if anything shows up there?
Hey sorry, I havent been able to use my computer over the weekend, I just did the mic test and the mic can be heard very easily in the test
So, you can be heard in the mic test, but not in the game?
i can also vouch for this issue, same thing happens to me, except I'm on the Xbox Series X
I have no communication penalties on Xbox, and I'm only able to hear lobbies half of the time with my listening scope set to 'Everyone'
I can hear friends on Discord calls, my Mic Test works, and my friends on calls can hear the other players no issues.

- Quit game.
- Right click "Party Animals", then click "Properties". Type "-log" in the "Launch Options", and close the Properties window.
- Restart the game. Then in Steam Library, right click "Party Animals ", then "Manage", then "browse local files". In the pop-up windows, you will see log files named "2023-09-xx_xxxxxxxxx-Laptop Name". Each game session will generate one log.
- Try to reproduce the issue and remember the time when you encounter it. Then quit the game, and ZIP all the log files.
