Steam: Stuck grabbing anything

anytime I start a match my character automatically grabs ANYTHING near automatically without me touchign anything. I just need to walk to a wall or anything and it'll grab it... and never let go. Even after being knocked out, it'll do it again, making it impossible to play any match properly

hey @timid kite that bug still hasn't been fixed. it happens to me every so often. not an issue with my controller, I unplug it and spam spacebar on keyboard, same issue

1. Which mode and map did the issue occur in?
2. The relevant video.
3. The exact time and date you encountered the issue, including your time zone.

Sorry I don't have a clip but as described when that happens the character is just grabbing everything nearby and it's very difficult to let go. Including the floor on some maps like Gator Valley, very annoying. IIRC happened in Smash mode. Around the same time I posted it, 2024-08-02 11:50~11:55PM ET.

Okay. While I have you here, what's up with the new message on startup when -log is enabled? Does that affect performances a lot? I had it on for months since you request logs everytime and I'm encountering so many issues.
