I'm experiencing the same issue. I reported it this issue on the second-to-last playtest and sent the, but unfortunately it hasn't been fixed yet.

@grave elm I have an initial for solve this issue that work for me. You have try to update your stream
click on stream on the left side bar and than click on "Check for stream client updates"
But after shut down the computer I still got the same error you have to click update stream again.

Unfortunately doing that doesn't fix the launch crash issue for me.

I reinstalled the game and reinstalled nvidia driver and my windows are up to date but I still got the same error
