Personally speaking, if you are a beginner, you should not start with a prop firm. You will just blow up accounts, pay for resets and feed the pig. Figure out the markets, do your research and homework, develop a trading system that matches your personality/appetite and trade it on a demo account. Once you are CONSISTENTLY profitable for months on end - then consider getting funded by a prop firm. A prop firm will chew you up and spit you out as a beginner or intermediate trader...

Can you explain how to scalping time frame m5 and m15. There signal valid every 2-3 hours? Because redrawing always

but you have heikin ashi candles, so in my opinion, I am not sure the signals would provide a good scalping condition, as these hybrid candles do not represent true open/close candlesticks. you would just need to backtest to see what patterns you notice and if they are repeatable patterns that you can rely on for entries on any timeframe

I've been using / testing S&O for almost a month, and especially the S&O Backtester to find the best strategy for my type of trading

I'm trading XAUUSD on small TF (M2, M3), and I've noticed that from one day to another, the results can be so different between 2 sensibilities on S&O (Like Monday gets the best backtest results with Sensibility 11 for example, and Thursday with 24).

My question is : Is the backtester accurate regarding the Sensibility Autopilot ?
Because when I toggle it into the backtester, results are a mess. But they are probably different in live, I don't know yet.

Could someone give me some advice about the sensibility thing please ? So I can stay at least 2 days without changing it haha

Yes the performances of any strategy, any Backtesters can be and will be different from day to day. This is something you would need to experiment on your own. Please remember, past results, are not indicative of future performances

There are quite a lot of them, and I’m starting to lose a bit of overview 🙂 I’d like to ask if anyone has real experience with a strategy from this Discord that has worked well on prop firms, especially Fintokei (or FTMO / similar). Thanks a lot for your reply, I really appreciate it. I fully agree — the LuxAlgo tools (SaO, PAC, OSC) are excellent, and I definitely want to use and combine them properly. My goal is to build a solid system based on these tools. However, before diving into several months of development, testing, and fine-tuning my own custom strategy, I was hoping to first work with an already created, tested strategy that is known to function well — ideally one that also has a community around it, where I can ask questions, learn from others’ experience, and understand the nuances. I’ve tried the LuxAlgo AI as well, but in practice it tends to generate rather generic strategies, and it doesn’t really allow deeper customization (such as precise filters, session windows, or more specific conditions), so I see it more as a starting point than a complete solution. I’ll go through the strategies shared in the manual-strategies section and hopefully manage to orient myself well enough not to miss something important. In parallel, I’ll slowly move toward building my own strategy using LuxAlgo tools. Thanks again for taking the time to reply — it’s really appreciated, especially as a newcomer. I know some questions may sound basic to more experienced traders, so I’m grateful for the patience and openness here.

@fading zephyr I found it beneficial when I first started to concentrate only on a few fx crossees that where the most liquid like eurusd, gbpusd, usdjpy & usdcad and only traded them until i knew them inside out. combine with a few of LuxAlgo indicators and it soon will make sense. I also drew boxes round the daily range, more often then not when they touch the boundries they will retreat. Good luck

thank you for your opinion. I agree: I also want to focus on just a few "selected" assets = I had planned to trade EUR/USD and the SaP500 stock index and gold from commodities. Probably nothing more. But each asset behaves = it trends differently and at different intraday times (according to active exchanges). I don't want to have dozens of assets on the chart and know only a little about each, but to take a look at a few of them and trade only those = only at certain intraday times. Luxalgo indicators should have different settings during the Japanese session and different settings when crossing Europe and the US, I guess. Yes, I am also interested in following important reflection lines in the chart such as the daily range or yesterday's close and the like. There, patterns repeat themselves often (of course, according to confluence). Can I ask you, please, where I can find more information about your strategy for the "daily range"? Thank you

@fading zephyr Daily range is simple to follow, some traders do it even by session. like Asia or Europe. The premise is simple, biggest sellers will sit on one extreme and buyers on the opposite side.. Works terrific in ranging markets, which is most of the time. Almost like playing ping pong

That would depend on your stop loss in (pips) too. There are position calculators online which you can utilise to work out your lot size for the ticker of your choice

Yes the value per pip for a symbol does not change but if you have a different stop loss value then that can change the lot size calculation

Here is an example:
10k account
1% risk - (£100)
stop loss: 10 pips
Lot size: 1.0

Now if you have the same account and your stop loss is 20 pips (double the previous - 10 pips) then that would affect your lot size which would then become 0.5 instead of 1.0 as your stop loss in pips is double.

Online position size calculators will be able to tell you the correct lot size to use

Hi, I am scalping (or short term trading) GC mainly on the 5 Min and 1 Min charts (Tradingview) using the indications of the Oscillator Matrix and the OSC screener. Does anyone have a proven setup for me that is ideally backtested successfully incl. the various values for Money Flow Oscillator Length and Smoothness degree, Hyper Wave Length, SMA signal length, divergence sensitivity level as well as reversal frequency. Also, the necessary OSC screener options would be appreciated. If properly done I think this could be a very good trigger for entry and exit signals and a great strategy companion.

Yes thats the correct approach, if you set your FVG to inverse and then created an an imbalance alert, you will be alerted on whatever type of imbalance you selected when creating the alert (IE: New Imbalance / Imbalance Mitigiated etc)

Couldn’t get my head around the scripting but found it easy to use the ‘add condition’ in the TV drop down menu using PAC, which allows me to name the alerts. My question is every condition is linked by ‘and’ so does that mean lux algo will only alert when all the conditions occur at same time ? Or it allows for one to occur after the other ? Eg I have ‘bearish OB’ AND ‘bearish choch ‘ and then another alert as ‘bullish OB’ AND ‘bullish choch ‘

I have a strategy in place but I'd love to deploy / find an additional indicator that is built for SMC traders. The Signal indicator looks graphically stunning, out of question, but unfortunately, even after tweaking that indicator on all possible levels, it is not really an additional support )))) thus, looking for experienced SMC traders who work with liquidity grabs, orderflow whilst deploying an indicator that gives one additional edge. 🙂

Im really enjoying the pace and price action I am getting the rythm of.
All the awesome tools we get here are making it even dreamier

Gold is respecting the analysis punched the POC to the downside closing a decent gap in the volume profile (1H)
and pulling back towards the 50 EMA, and theres still a huge gap to fill. If XAU respect this analysis it could return to fill the gaps this week, or early next week...
but you never know if we will return to POC first, chop around or reverse before it gets there...

...if it gets there, which I have a ver strong conviction it will.

if you look close you can see that box that points out the gap I am talking about which XAU opened strongly to the upside of and hasn't closed yet.
there's a bunch of other confluences to the downside than that too. but the VP, the GAP, the moving avg flips. Looking like high probability 🙂

I think 4210 is actually an even stronger level for a huge pullback, the VP I ran on that is over a way longer stretch of time leading me to believe its a way bigger point of interest...

I can see a reason now that I look and see though old lows. theres also a market gap on sunday the 4th that O just noticed now.
