I'm not sure as to what you have in your scripting.
Usually if you want scripting alerts based on PAC elements, you would script this within the PAC Alert-Scripting section, just depends if you need PAC as externals within Signals and Overlays

Lets focus on your scripting and put aside your automation 3rd party until you get the Alert Scripts correct

Hi everyone! I’m currently developing an algo strategy for FTMO and have run into issues with historical XAUUSD data.
I’ve collected 1-minute and 15-minute data using Quant Data Manager, and also exported price data directly from an FTMO demo account on MT5 via an MQL script — since the bot will run on that platform. The main issue is that even slight price differences between third-party sources (like HistData or QDM) and the actual FTMO feed significantly affect my strategy logic — especially for detecting FVGs and fractal BOS. This causes trade mismatches and unreliable backtest results. I’m aiming to backtest XAUUSD over the past 10–15 years, so I’m looking for the most accurate historical data that closely reflects FTMO’s price feed.

If anyone could share:
– reliable data sources for gold that you’ve used,
– how you align third-party data with FTMO’s feed,
– and/or any tools or pipelines you've built to solve this,

👉 Spread hours refer to a time period (usually late at night or early in the trading day) when the bid-ask spread becomes very wide due to low market liquidity.

During these hours:

Spreads are higher than usual (cost of entering/exiting a trade increases)

Price movements can be erratic or manipulated

It's riskier to enter trades because SLs can get hit easily just due to volatility from spreads not real price action

So in simple terms:
⚠️ It's not a good time to trade right now. Wait until the market stabilizes and spreads return to normal.

You're trade looks okay, ive just checked the 15m xauusd chart and there are a few sell confluences such as a sell signal just generated, whilst smart trail is also bearish and a bearish choch has been produced too suggestiong a shift in market structure to bearish. The oscillator matrix is starting bearish money flow too.

Id just be weary of the bullish order block what could act as support. I also dont trade NFP as its the most volatile news day of the month (usually)

Hey, i'd always recommend doing your own research as to which platform/brokerage to choose when starting forex. Some members use prop firms and their brokers for forex trading, whereas some other members trade cash and use other brokerages. Personally I use prop firms such as: FTMO on MetaTrader 5 to trade forex.

Hopefully other members can share what brokers/platforms they use for their trading

I applied concepts I’ve been learning from my mentor @icy wraith videos, combined with LuxAlgo Premium tools (Price Action Toolkit, FVG, OB, Liquidity) for confluence.
Entries were timed after BOS + OB mitigation + liquidity sweep, then partials secured quickly to lock in profits.

for example some brokers offer better spreads than others so if your a scalper for instance, youd prefer a broker which offers minimal spreads compared to others what offer higher spreads. Its down to you to weigh up your options and how you are as a trader in terms of picking a brokerage for you. But then some brokers have a higher commission per trade for having a zero spread account. So its just seeing what suits you and what doesn't
