That 2k win may of been on a 200k account which is only 1% but then you can try make them wins on much smaller accounts and take big % losses. I try not to look at other peoples profits these days as there is always going to be traders more profitable than you etc. Best to just focus on yourself

You could always try top down analysis, check what the trend is on a higher timeframe, then trade in that direction on a lower timeframe and have a trading plan. For me, if i have 3 losses in a day i call it a day then come back the next day fresh
