This i have, but its really not much. depending on my position size, i may get charged $1-3 to hold my swing trade overnight or weekend for each day

Is it normal for the alerts on T.V to stop after a time? Mine stopped a while ago. On another note, I'm getting a little fed up over the last few weeks, not had a winning trade in about three weeks, lost over half of my account balance, which wasn't great to start with. Seriously getting annoyed of losing all the time.

yeah, but i've been losing for 6 years since i first started trading..grante i have taken chunks of time away from it, though since i started up again about four months ago I've pretty lost every time, apart from the odd few times of winning. I'll set up the alerts again and check the settings, hopefully get them to stay on.

Everyone have a different road to personal success , if you want to see progress you have to grind . btw if you at this point i would recommend you to scale up your plan where you can back test strategies instead of losing money and hope you will gain skill self confidence and knowledge and when you ready you'll be back to market , think about it

You could use the S&O elements such as neo cloud as a guide to the trend. You could also use market structure within PAC such as bullish/bearish CHoCH on the higher timeframes. There are lots of variables you could use to determine the trend on the higher timeframes.
