• Price tends to revisit these levels, making them ideal areas for entries. A bullish OB occurs before an upward move; a bearish OB before a downward move.
3. Liquidity Pools:
• Clusters of stop orders from retail traders, typically found around swing highs or lows. Institutions push prices into these areas to collect liquidity before reversing the market.
How to trade:
• Wait for price to sweep liquidity and then reverse to align with the institutional trend.
4. Fair Value Gaps (FVGs) or Imbalances:
• These are areas where price moves so quickly that not all orders were filled, leaving a “gap” between candles.

• Expect price to retrace and fill these gaps, providing excellent entry points.
5. Break of Structure (BOS):

6. Mitigation Blocks:

Daily Routine for SMC Trading

1.    Pre-Market Preparation:
•    Mark major liquidity areas and order blocks on higher timeframes (H1, H4, or Daily).
2.    Monitor Sessions:
•    Pay attention to London and New York sessions, as these are when institutional players are most active.
3.    Trade Execution:
•    Wait for liquidity grabs and market structure shifts, confirming entries at order blocks or fair value gaps.

SMC Trade Setup

1.    Step 1: Identify a Market Structure Shift (MSS).
•    Price breaks a recent swing high, suggesting that the downtrend might be reversing.
2.    Step 2: Mark key Order Blocks (OBs).
•    Identify the last bearish candle before the bullish move as the OB. This becomes your zone of interest for entries.
3.    Step 3: Identify any Fair Value Gaps (FVGs) left during the bullish rally.
•    Look for unfilled imbalances between candles, as price often returns to fill them.
4.    Step 4: Wait for a retracement to the OB or FVG.

So not for trading purposes as I use a different broker. But in the context of using the indicators. Which symbol would you suggest. OANDA is what I’m using as well but when I mistakenly used IC Markets I noticed some signals were printed on the one platform and not the other. Very weird.

There is no right or wrong answer here.
Forex does not trade on a centralized exchange, such as stocks, futures and options.
Forex are traded at each brokers liquidity exchange pool.
Although there are slight differences, the pricing and chart are visually very similar.
But there are differences in pricing, this is due to individual exchange pools, some are regulated in their local countries, some are not regulated. My suggestion is to find and use a brokers data feed on a symbol for TradingView charts, that closely matches to the actual brokers symbol on your brokers account, in the event TradingView does not provide your brokers exchange data.
