So for ideas on settings, I would go back and review these content links that I posted for you, as I dont believe there are many members that trade binary since this was made illegal in most countries. it depends on a lot of elements like elmoo said. So many varibles to that question, what currency pair whats good for one person may not be good for another. Its all about spending time on charts with your trading strategy and finding what works best and what doesn't

For me, i only trade AUD/JPY and sometimes USD/JPY for my strategy. Others find AJ/UJ a bit slow and prefer faster more volatile markets like XAUUSD

yes its basically because there is no information that lets you know the outcome before hand. People can react and you have to allow a trend to develop. This is the best method. A few words can send shock waves through a market. Trade away from news.

if you are a scalper you can prob trade a fww minutes after or if you are a conservative swing trader, adjust your position. I dont like open trades before news at all

Looks like the channel is forming nicely. Being at the upper 1/4 line is crucial if it can’t break through, we might see a pullback.

If it does break through I’ll try adding at the old pennant retest around 2642 or the upper border of the channel at around 2658. 2658 would be quite nice actually.

That sounds like a solid plan. If it breaks through, those levels at 2642 and 2648 could offer good entry points. 2648 would provide a nice confirmation of strength. Let’s see how it plays out

Think it went up on CPI being marginally higher than predicted. Gold likes inflation, dislikes disinflation and hates deflation. But 0.1% isn’t really relevant to me. Was still down on the yearly vs a month prior.

I shared this with a newer Crypto trader yesterday. It typically takes 3-5 years to become consistently profitable. Some more, some less and most never. At that point, you are considered a professional trader. It does not matter the size of your account. If you are gaining month-over-month you are doing something right. I have trading colleagues that measure profits by the day. Some by the week, the month or the quarter. It only takes a few trades to make the month/quarter profitable. Your win/loss ratio means nothing unless you are consistently profitable. P&L is the bottom line. Whatever system you use. If you find a tool that helps you - put it in your tool box.

Yes. Perhaps in the new session later today. There is no appreciable resistance ahead. The DXY has been moving consistently upward for three weeks. The JXY has been floating down for a week. No red flag days on the horizon for DXY or JXY (major economic announcements) in the near future. I think it will chop around or drop down to hit some stops. I completely expect a push above 150 today or tonight..

I trade against all the "rules" in Forex. My stop is not in the line of fire for the stop hunters. Including the institutional traders.

Here’s a few potential structures to watch.

Large white channel / bull flag

Medium blue channel: could form a HS within it. Right shoulder could go as high as 2664. Would target anywhere from 0.382 fib at 2605 or bottom of white channel at around 2595.

Small purple channel could be a bear flag targeting midline of white channel at around 2630.
