Custom alerts, with using bar color value for external, you can take a look at the data window for the green +1, purple 0, red -1, valuesIn custom alert, you would need to add a 2nd instance of Signals and Overlays, one will call the other.
One color (green to purple to red) will cross the other color. Purple to Green is "crossing 1." Purple to red, is "crossing -1."

in the best losers win, he touches on how as humans we can keen to add to losing positions but never really add positions to winning trades and we are built to take profit early and secure some profits. Whereas with losses we are happy to let them run into a deep loss in the hope they will reverse whereas our mindset is different with our take profit. Soon as we in a winning trade and it starts to reverse we are far too quick to close the position because of 'fear' of losing out on potential profits.

I really enjoyed the book tbf on how you should have your mindset when it comes to trading but explains why over 90% lose money is because of that exact reason and fear

I just realized that if I verbalize what I would do, I would do it. For example, if it crosses the Trend Catcher, I would cut loss. If it hits the FVG, I should cut loss and reverse trade instead.

just comes over time and with experience, i used to always extend my SL in the early days of my trading. Now i set my SL at a place where if price hits it and takes me out i accept the loss and don't increase my SL as if price tags my stop loss my trade set up is no longer valid and will await another set up.

I still have issues letting my winning trades run tbf, then times ive tried letting my trade run. Its gone against me and taken me out at BE so its a difficult one

The best thing to do is set a trading plan then don't deviate from that plan at all and become consistent with it.
(IE: for you have a rule that if price crosses the trend catcher you cut your losses etc)

But it all comes with experience and time. Cant become good at trading overnight which people seem to think is possible with all these GURU's out there and misinformation

So yes, in replay you would see it, but now, it is mitigated already

You could add more confluences other than the signals, as in your chart the price is in a premium zone. You could add another condition such as only take buy trades what produce a bullish+ confirmation and is below the EQ and vice versa for sell trades.

You could also add more confluences and have an array of conditions what need to happen before entering the trade. The signals are not meant to be taken blindly but aid in our own technical analysis too

Another condition could be to use neo clouds for another confluence or other S&O indicator elements.

A complex scenario could be only take buy trades if
bullish+ signal
neo cloud blue
below EQ
bullish CHoCH

This gives you 4 confluences for your buy trade then as opposed to just relying on the signals, this is just an example how you can stack confluences

The 1 minute timeframe can be harsh though so if you're relatively new to trading id advise trying the higher timeframes first until you start to be consistent then move lower

Tuning into Mickys daily streams will help you though as i know you tune in to them as he offers tips and tricks on how to use the indicators to look for trades and how he uses them

But in general the more confluences you have stacked in your favour, the higher the chance the trade could go your way but that isnt a certain as losses are inevitable but we want the odds in our favour haha.

Not all elements would have a bullish/bearish rating associated with it. Near as I can tell, it's only the elements with colors when displayed which will have that. In order to use that element as a contributor to the overall rating, it would need to be enabled.

Hey! its all about whether you think the strategy you've created is good for you or not (IE: in terms of net profit/Max DD etc)
All other opinions shouldn't matter to much to you as its only you who's trading and knows your trading style.
But my opinion is it looks good, the equity curve is nice and green along with low DD.

Yes especially high impact news buddy. Try to be out of trades 30 mins before/after news. That’s how I trade personally.

Big news events don’t matter as much on higher timeframes as smaller timeframes though as your usually having a bigger stop loss. (Ie: swing trading vs scalping)

I have an alert that triggers when that condition is met. This is for gold/wti (oil). I dont trade these pairs without the alert. Then i analyze - I use Fibonacci, determine point of entry and just DCA. Mostly accurate so I hardly use SL. I also place trades before the news.

Entry points are like magnets. 6-8 hrs before news, it starts to attract the price

Took this theoretical sell on gbp/usd 5 min chart, And it lost. I entered when i saw it break through the order block (marked in red) and entered at the orange line i put to confirm it had been broken. the order block disappeared after it was broken, is there any signs that would have suggested not to enter please. (also hit a banger on the sell from premium earlier) in future im looking for better setups thats y i didnt make the trade on my account.

a few i can think of my self are, lower lot size as it may continue in my direction after the retest, check lower timeframe as it shows discount zone on 1 min not 5 min that i was using, but most of all wait for a better setup.

I won't be able to recommend a particular way to do this, but I can give you an idea on how this works. Trading View uses webhooks as an option in its alerts to connect to other 3rd parties.
The logic is as follows:

• Trading View alert -> webhook URL -> 3rd party platform (your own or you purchase a service) -> your broker/exchange/trading platform.
  A message is sent by the alert to the trading platform to open/close/modify trades.

Please be advised that LuxAlgo does not provide direct support for automation, as this is facilitated through third-party software, and the process varies depending on the program being used.

@echo kiln technically any relation between GC1 and XAU as there is different in trading values but following the same PAC you feel there is lag movement only can you charts it gives nice predication specially last movement in Gold futures typically happens in 1/8 and in XAU happens 16/8

The futures Gold GC and the forex XAU moves very VERY similar.
But with FX, it depends on which FX broker you use as there is no centralized exchange for FX pairs. SO be careful in selecting a FX broker that is regulated. The futures GC is ONLY traded on the centralized regulated CME exchange, no funny business here.
