Hiya. I can see the yellow area and blue arrow. I think you're just a bit late to the party. There were previous retraction to the green line you could have entered with. If your higher time frames are still saying buy, this retraction could be a better place. If you're trading 15 mins, 1D is great for trend but you need to look at 4h and 1h to spot those nice retractions then jump into 15m. Or just trade 1h. It's slower and gives you time to make sure you're happy with analysis. And this is the voice of experience, I have major fomo and lost so many trades cos late then forcing trades

Good morning, everyone. I want to ask if anyone trades using this strategy.

Rule number 1: To take a sell, you need to be in the premium zone. Wait for a CHoCH and FVG to form and take trades from there.

Rule number 2: To take a buy, you need to be in the discount zone. Wait for a CHoCH and bullish FVG to form and take the trade.

Rule number 3: Aim for a ratio of 1/5 or 1/2, mostly targeting 1/2. Always trade during the session from 3/4 AM London time to 16:00 New York time. Avoid any trades after this time.

For the past two weeks, I usually have 1-2 trades per day. Over these two weeks, I have had just 2 losses and 8 winning trades.

I tested only on Eur/USD and Gold

If anyone trades in this style, please share your experience.

From reading your rules on trading, I think its sensible. I am more Time frame dominated. My rules are not rules due to nature of XAU. The only rule I have is follow the market and choose when to trade carefully. there is a set of information.. 1. News. as shared by Danny just now. 2. market open... dont have positions open at this time as you have no idea what people will do when a market happens. Humans get excited and do silly things. 3. Have a large balance and take 10 pips then wait. 4. on HTF look for direction. when you get to LTF you are scalping so trade it "backwards" on every pull back. 5. remember your style, if you are a swing trader, then be ready to be patient. If you are a scalper, you need to be agile and never leave your screen. 6. The intensity of scalping is pretty high, take breaks and close your book down so you have a fresh mind. I have been taught this by one of the best traders I have known.

Hello Kiril, thank you very much for sharing your strategy. It looks promising on the first look, but 10 trades are nothing actually. I would recommend to further test it and finish a minimum of 100 trades, better 200 or more, to get more confidence. If you don't do so already, I recommend to use MyFXBook or FXBlue to monitor your statistics. I have another approach and have finished yet about 100 trades. So far my stats are: Win-Rate 58% / Profit Factor 1,37 / Risk-Reward-Ratio 1:1. I am happy with the results actually, but I also need more confidence. I will further test it and optimise it and if it will continue positively, I don't mind to share my approach.

Its a swing trade, no such thing. For scalps (especially when i trade XAU), i could worry a lot about stop losses/entry points/etc.

When I say Swing, I’m expecting atleast a 5-10% price movement. Entry at whatever I feel like, 5 DCA points if price drops below that (DCA entry at every -1%), and I just leave it for 5-10 days.

Nzdjpy is on 87 right now and going to 94. I’m expecting atleast 8.3% price movement from this. With 10 lots, from 87-94 is $71k profit.
