I’d make a trading plan and stick to it. Mine as a particular set of entry criteria what has to be ticked off before I enter.

I don’t trade 30 mins before/afternoon. I even close trades in a loss if it’s near news

Serious question...here in the US we experienced time change basically every 6 months. Spring forward, fall back... Anyhow last Sunday there was extreme price gap.... Now what I'm wondering... Also, don't look at just one chart. What happened on 1D or even 1W? Would you use 4h to trade or for market sentiment and trade a lower time frame? Personally, I wouldn't like to judge a move without more info from other time frames

I've been looking into alerts and yeah, it can help to have one indicator for entry and another for exit. I've tried to help myself by renaming the alerts in TV to Strategy IN and Strategy OUT
