here is what I read.

there is a look back period then a simulation count then and some sort of whether to randomise.. this is the monte carlo thing/ then you have direction and simulations... it seems to be based on stocks originally. it changes 50% of the randomised bars to create a distributed range. It uses historical data by look back of a range of time and its basically a polyline. three outputs based on standard deviation from the norm, Then it takes into account polylines... min max and average lines

this is my understanding of what this does

is that news will blow this out of the window unless the market is ranging..

I learnt this principle when I was about 18 and doing statistics as an A-level

when the market settles put it there and use it to scalp.

dont trade in the middle of it

trade on the edges with the trend.

may people dont like clutterd signals as it confuses them. if you can process a lot of visuals its easier.. depends on style

Today is Non Farm Payroll (NFP) for those of you who are new here, this is usually the single biggest news event of the month and occurs on the first Friday of every month.

Non-farm payroll represents how many people are employed in the US, in manufacturing, construction and goods companies. The can also be known as non-farms, or NFP.

This usually has a huge impact on the volatility of the market and unless we can safely be risk free before the news, we tend to avoid trading and opening new positions today.
This is due to the huge potential of slippage.

If I can't be in a trade 2 hours before the news drops at 13:30 (GMT) then i will just sit it out as there is no chance of getting risk free off the table
