thats a good idea actually, big lots can be scary. When i had TFT and ACG i had to verify with ACG that the TFT account was mine and send proof to support before they would enable my copier and also made sure my EA was allowed on the challenges

there is a simple calculation to work out your lot size mate - decide how much you want to risk per trade? so say 3% = £3 risk on £100 account
youd do: account balance (£100) x risk (0.03) / SL in pips / 10
Example:
£100 x 0.03 = £3 divided by 10 (10 pip stop loss) = 0.3 divided by 10 = 0.03

I took 0.02 lots gold trade of sell on 2237.400 1 hrs before then it suddenly started going up and it went to 2242 and the loss was 14$ and closed the position on loss of 2.5$
I have one doubt I trade on 5-15 mins timeframe candle there was a proper indication of selling and on 3 mins timeframe a bullish engulfing candle formed after that price started going up
So my doubt is that do we also have to see 3 mins timeframe candle to take trades for 5-15mins timeframe

Won’t recommend that kind of mentality once you trade large amounts especially gold, you have to learn to accept loses and if you are not sure of a trade and you still placed it well it’s either gonna hit TP or SL.
Calling yourself lucky to make back a 14$ -> 2$ shows you were not 100% sure about a trade but straight up took it in FOMO. 1H candle has 12 5M candles and 20 3M candles does mean if bias is bullish gold just start climbing where you entered there is always some retracement.
