Any suggestions on a scalping strategy using the S&O trading forex ? Looked all through the strategies and all the YT videos/shorts and none of them seem to work at all. The more confluences I’m adding the worst results I’m getting. Plus getting strong signals and then it completely reversing. If I did the opposite to all the signals today, would have been a great day. I’m just after a simple strategy using 1 to 5 min timeframes that is profitable and I’m able to be at the screens all day to follow

As long the systems are heavily regulated and it follows good fundementals and there is no riba involved i dont see an issue with it

I can trade SMC OTE absolutely fine, on higher timeframes, works great. But came across luxalgo and might have helped with shorter timeframe, scalping trades. I don’t need a price action/smc indicator as I know how to trade that fine. I can do my own analysis without the drawings being done for me. But thought looking at signals & overlays would be good… but finding it’s not given great signals, despite me back testing on tweaking settings/the presets… so unless S&O can provide better results. I’m not sure what value it can add to me

• it's a pair that's traded a lot, so you usually get good spreads and trading volume through London and New York sessions
• has good correlations to DXY, gold, GBPUSD

yea the difficult part is when the market is either in a slump (can your strategy handle that? can you handle sitting on your hands and not doing anything stupid?) or when you have taken 4 losers in a row on the chin - can you still execute from an objective state of mind in that case?

i think the attached image is priceless in that sense @desert egret to put loss streaks in perspective . Even with a 60% win rate system there's a 70% chance of getting 4 losers in a row over a sample of 50 trades for example. Getting 4 or even 6 losers in a row in a 60% wr strat isn't a reason to change your strat per se, it's just probabilities working out
